Air Intake Tube Hose kit by CARRS4X4 for Land Rover Discovery 2

100% recommend for the replacement of the original intake tube. I attached a picture of the “before” install. Easy, quick self install. 👍

This was a perfect replacement for our '04 Disco 2, great to get rid of the decaying factory tube and nice to see this looks like it will last much longer!

Land Rover decided to make the original intake tube hose out of some sort of pith material, which dries out and will eventually disintegrate on every vehicle. This is an excellent upgrade that will never have to be replaced again.As you can see in the picture, the kit comes with two gaskets to seal the intake to the side of the vehicle, which replaces the foam that currently resides there. It is unclear why there are two, and the kit comes with no instructions. Realistically, only one is required to make an air tight seal.

if you have a disco 2 that needs the intake hose from the air box to the fender, this is it. its solid rubber and not the rubber coated fabric of the original. looks like it will last a long time.

Whoever though of a canvas hose for the discovery 2 needs to be fired. Did the rubber replacement and feels much better, and cleaner.

Nice replacement for original part which had disintegrated. The included seal for the inner fender would work better if the factory plastic elbow mounting was not so crap.

If fit perfectly, but $54 dollars is much to pay for just a rubber plastic tube 6 inches long.
