Nintendo Marth amiibo - Nintendo Wii U

GENERAL INFO: I can't get enough of these amiibo. I decided to buy just Marth at launch to see how they do and by god the amiibo are amazing. Amiibo levels affect their stats so a lvl. 50 Marth amiibo is stronger, faster and can take a hit better than a normal Marth even if you don't play with custom characters. Amiibo are also the best way outside of All-Star mode to get equippable items and trophies because they earn more of them the more they fight.LEVELING: Leveling them is fast and easy, it only takes about 2-3 hours of gameplay to get them to level 50. That is assuming you play 30 minute timed games. They can even level against CPUs if you want to leave your Wii U on and do other things.AI LEARNING: As for the AI learning, that continues even after the amiibo is at max level. After he reached level 50, I trained my Marth amiibo during several hours of grueling 1v1 and after the first few battles he became so good that he beat me about 4 times out of 5. It is very clear that they play differently depending on how they are trained and it's even possible that the amiibo forgets how to battle one way if it's constantly thrown into a different sort of battle. For instance, I've noticed a change in the moves Marth uses after constantly putting him into Free-For-All battles or battles where he's on a small team vs. a large team. It will be interesting to see where experimentation takes me. Either way, after battling the well trained amiibo, level 9's are a cake walk.FIGURINE: My figurine came just fine, no problem or complaints at all and no damage done by the packaging. Amazon is very good with returns though so if you get a wonky one, just order a new one and return the old one.CONCLUSION: After playing with Marth for a couple of days I decided to go out and buy 3 more amiibo. Now I have Link, Mario and Pikachu and they all trained against Marth and they're all just as formidable as he is. I love pitting 3 of them against a team of 5 lvl 9 CPUs in 8 Player Smash and just watching them go to town on the poor, unsuspecting CPU players. I highly recommend getting at least one amiibo to try them out, even if it's not Marth (who just happens to be my favorite). I've nearly come to the decision to get them all. My wallet's crying already...

I was lucky enough to get this at the starting price and if you can, do it! It is a brilliant ai that should be applauded. It gives me and my friends a real challenge, something that a level 9 could never do. Nintendo said that they won't be making any for the time being due to shelf space, but come a couple of months they should resurface, so get this guy then!

The amiibo is in better condition than expected, the only problem is that the sword of the figure was bent pretty badly. But even retail, the sword's on these things usually come bent a little so it is to be expected and can be fixed. There are a few very minor and almost unnoticeable marks on it too, but if you have this up on display, you won't even be able to tell from a distance.

My Marth amiibo is so cool! I love the designs on him!!! AND HE'S JAPANESE TOO!!!! I got him in a Japanese box and everything!!! But the only bad side to it was that one spot on the design on his cape was scratched up. And pretty badly too. But luckily it's in one small spot but still that's how I found it when I opened it. Oh well. It's not like I'll be able to get another one cheap anytime soon. Wasn't cheap getting it but hey could've been a lot worse. So overall I LOVE IT!!!!

The Marth Amiibo is a high quality, finely crafted figurine. Well worth the price, you will be surprised by the exquisite workmanship in all of the amiibo characters.I would be interested to learn HOW they are made. Best guess...made by mold, then touched up by hand...then painted by hand. I've never seen this quality of detailed work done any other way.Thank you Nintendo! Great job!

Marth is one of the more popular figures, because of the Fire Emblem fanbase. The figure looks good, for the retail price. This one of course has had it's price inflated because of it's popularity. I base my star review on sculpt and how the model looks, the extended functionality of these figures will grow over time.5/5 Because:The sculpt is good and I like the pose.It's not a main Nintendo Character, so we can't tell if the functionality of this Amiibo will continue to be expanded across other games, we can only hope.Great for a FE fan!

Can't beat purchasing a rare NA amiibo for retail price. It felt like winning the amiibo lottery since the availability was flickering in and out before my eyes. Success! This is a reprint Marth, so the facial features and hair are slightly different compared to the first edition Marth. Also please note: if you are a MIB collector, you may be disappointed if your amiibo comes with little dings in the plastic or slightly bent cardboard (both of which happened to me). It was not a big deal to me because the figure itself was fine. It's Marth after all!

Bought mine from FavImporterJP. This is a legit Marth Amiibo and from a quality retailer. It might take a few more days but you're getting what you payed for instead of lies and deceit with Amazon looking at you like, "your fault, k bye".Completely works with all compatible Wii U games. Unbent/unbroken features. Package was intact too.
