big loud and noisey... will work for anyghing requiring 1 or more bells.
Well I can't call these "jingle-bells" as they are huge, but calling them sleigh bells would be quite accurate... they say again, are HUGE, never expected them to be so big... The postman didn't know what to think, till I told him what was in box, as the rattling sound of the muted bells was questionable. But they are nice, loud, and after I have used them for intended skit, I am going to use one for a 'door-bell,' as it will be loud enough... and am going to paint one with white school glue and sprinkle glitter all over it to make Christmas decorations. They are awesome bells, though quite large, 3.5 inches in diameter. The clappers consist of, I believe, lead balls that won't break like marbles. having closed bottoms, they shouldn't catch on anything...
