Its....alright
This is a front flipper at an affordable price, for that it gets 3 stars. The detent is strong at first but seems to be breaking in ok. The knife is chunky, this is mostly due to the solid steel spacer in the back, and the super thick scales. Talking about the scales, they are plastic with a very fake looking carbon fiber sticker over them which is not very classy for a front flipper.Overall I am pleased with this knife. The action is relatively good, it came very sharp with that polished edge, and I will try to make my own wood scales to make it look nicer. This knife is worth the money, though it could be better.

Solid, inexpensive front flipper. Thicc AF
Solid knife for the price. The thickness is a bit much, but personally I have absolutely no trouble with the front flipper, deploying it 100% of the time. It's snappy af. The blade steel is okay, it'll hold it's edge for an ok amount of time. Perfect size for me as I've been looking for a smaller, inexpensive edc knife.

Great knife, but just a little bit too thick for EDC for my son.
The only thing I did not like about this knife is that it was just too thick in the handle. I was looking for a knife for my son that he could easily carry everywhere and this one seem to fit the bill. when it arrived and I took it out of the box I immediately realized that it was really just too thick and clunky for an everyday carry for a kid his size. This is the only reason that I had to return this for something smaller.

Just Okay Budget Front Flipper
I'll preface this review by saying that I've owned various front flippers in various price ranges (Civivi McKenna, Boos Smoke, Shamwari, etc.). This one is just okay. The blade is a very utilitarian shape and 14C28N is a fantastic budget steel. It came sharpened to a razor sharp mirror edge, better than any factory edge I've ever seen, seriously. Unfortunately, the blade stock is too thick for the size it is and it isn't ground super thin either.Deployment-wise, the detent was too strong to front flip comfortably out of the box. I ended up bending the liner out a bit to soften it and this helped tremendously, stopping it from tearing up my thumb. The thumbstuds work really well for thumb and reverse middle finger flicking. This is a snappy opener. It closes with a couple shakes and mine definitely benefited from the detent ramp I added. The handle leaves a lot to be desired. Although the ergos are pretty good, the overly thick CF/G10 scales feel cheap and have no texture. Thick steel liners only make it worse. Nested liners would have been a much better choice to slim it down. Although it uses a nice deep carry pocket clip, carry suffers due to the unnecessary thickness.Overall, it's not bad for the price and after some modifications. However, I'd take the slightly more expensive Civivi McKenna over it any day of the week.
