Good for a medium-sized cat or smaller or toy breed of dog
I got this to transport my cat to the vet. He is about 10-11lbs, and I found the size was good for him, but for a larger cat, it might be a little small--like a Maine Coon or something probably wouldn't fit. My cat seemed fairly comfortable. He looked outside only briefly but was able to curl up inside and look out the side mesh. He seemed to much prefer this with me walking over using a hard carrier being driven as he always complains when going for a car ride, but I never heard a peep from him when he was on my back! The only thing I don't like is that the straps are hard to adjust because they face the opposite direction compared to a regular backpack. I assume this is to prevent the straps from pulling and lengthening with the weight of the animal, so my advice is just to make sure you adjust it without your pet inside unlike what I tried to do as it's much harder once they're inside! Also, my other note is just to know that when you get it, it might not be obvious how to put the bubble window on. I struggled because there were no instructions, and then I went back on to the product page on Amazon only to discover that there is a video demonstrating how to put it together. That was very helpful!

Nearly £30 seemed a bit much...
But it's proven itself useful enough to make the cost worth it.Have you ever tried to wrangle a cat? How about two? When they both know what going in the box means.Well, though one of our cats stayed relatively small growing up, the other.... did not. Certainly not small enough to safely bring the both of them to their appointment at the vet. Now, I thought about getting a second carrier but if only one person is available to lug the pair to the vet, it wasn't feasible. This made it feasible. Now despite the horrified cries of the cat absolutely certain that I'd just sealed him to his doom for the first ten minutes, he did quiet down. It's well ventilated, clearly more comfortable than the cat would like to admit (the straps are also very well cushioned for the comfort of the hoomans) and more secure than it looked at first glance.Overall opinion? If you have to juggle cats, this is the way to do it.

Unusual Pet Carrier
A good idea, but needs reviewing. I purchased this for our 4 month old kitten to take him out during the lockdown. When the carrier arrived I checked it out, and although the casing seems sturdy, the bottom where the cat would usually sit, isn’t really comfortable. I had to purchase a small velour throw to fold and put in the bottom to line it, as my kitten wouldn’t sit inside. If it came with some kind of soft pad for the cat to sit down, then I think it would be a lot better. There is also a black grill or clear acrylic dome that you can attach to the hole where the cat can look out. When I attached the dome it turns round and round and is loose in the opening, which also rattles when you walk along. A rubber gasket would resolve the problem, and would make it more tight fitting. Apart from a few negatives, I think it’s a very good idea, and with a couple of tweaks, it certainly makes an unusual cat carrier that gets lots of looks.Note: When purchasing, open the zips and allow your cat investigate, sit inside on his own, and let the cat adjust to going in and out on its own, before taking out for the first time. If the your cat is happy being inside and has fun, then it will be a lot happier when you use the carrier to transport your cat around.

Absolutely worth the money!
Well at first I was worried on how my cat would cope being in such a small carrier as he is quite big but he fits just nicely, he wasn’t liking it at first, but once we went out for a short walk with him he finally came to his senses and enjoyed the birds singing and nature surrounded by him. Worth the money id say it is also good for vet purposes, instead of carrying a big box about 😃.My parents certainly thought it was silly to buy this but now that he’s actually starting to like it they don’t mind it for easy travels to the vets. I would also say the delivery for this parcel was also top notch performance as i was expecting my parcels to be delivered a little later but came early in the morning!

Recommended for non drivers
Had this at least over a year if not more and my cat has not broken free or destroyed it. I don't drive so it's handy to cycle my cat to the vet for a check up. I wouldn't get this if you're going to treat your pet like an ornament or a substitute child. My cat hates it like every other carrier she's been in as she's an animal. But it's practical to get her from A to B and it cuts journey time as I'm not walking with immense arm ache. I feel she's less jelly legged as well as there's less of a sea saw motion when I carry her. Every cat is different...try what works.

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM
Do NOT buy or use this item if you have a larger cat, or are carrying him any distance. It is VERY poorly aerated and can result in injury or harm to your pet. If your cat shows signs of stress, TAKE HIM OUT OF THE CARRIER IMMEDIATELY and take him to the vet via another means. THIS ITEM IS VERY DANGEROUS.

Jojo loves his rocket 🚀
I like to take my cat Jojo with me whenever I go visit my family, he is quite heavy cat and carrying him for 20 minutes is not ideal 😅 so I thought I will get some backpack and this one was just spot on. I wanted him to see where we are going and be able to check on him while I walk - the backpack is big enough for him - he can lay down and chill while we walk ;-) every time I put him inside it looks like he is ready to go to the moon 🚀 in his very own rocket 😅
