Simmtronics 2GB DDR2 Laptop RAM 800 MHz (PC 6400) with 3 Year Warranty

I had ordered 2. I'm using it even now. I had a little concern while buying it including a lot of negative reviews and everything. I trust Amazon a long ago. Even my purchase is safe, If it's a defective one. I will always get a replace or refund. It will take time by the way. You have to be patient with customer care. Anyway, back to product. I get original new versions even have a warranty over 3 years from the date of purchase. Happy to review :) .

I didn't expected to receive such a good quality product at this cheap rate... It's probably China made stuff with most of the details erased, no manufacturer id etc., but who cares because rest everything works !! Everything is as specified i checked the speed.. 800mhz 2gb DDR2 laptop ram maybe luckily i got authentic stuff ... Thanks to Amazon for the super SLOW delivery.. 6 days to deliver the package from Delhi to Mumbai 👌 anyways guys this 2gb ddr2 ram + original hynix 2gb ram made my 14yr old Dell 1545 fast ⏩ OpenMandriva Linux boots in 8-10 seconds ... cannot be compared to newer stuff but still I would recommend this ram for those who are still using old laptops & would like an upgrade. I would also recommend to go for Acer SSD 2.5inch drive or buy from other reputed brands. 👍🏼

The RAM module sent to me was as ordered i.e. Simmtronics DDR2 2GB RAM 800 MHz for Laptop. Month and year of import Sep 20. Ordered 1 of these initially.Installed one in my HP Pavillion 1240tx laptop running Elementary OS (Linux) and it worked along with my old RAM Modules which are 667MHz to a total of 4GB RAM memory.With renewed confidence ordered another one of these, which delivered today, installed both Simmtroics RAM's together without any issues. System is working fine at 4GB 800MHz.I was searching for 2 X 4GB module but could not find any on amazon. had to settle for these 2 X 2GB chips for 550rs approx. At this price seems like a steal to me.On minute inspection, I find the chips on the RAM are from Elpida, not sure if this helps anyone else take the decision to buy these.

I bought two 2GB RAM catridges and only one of them worked well. Other was having very old MFG date and absolute dummy. Once inserted laptop was beeping indicating there is no RAM.

When the RAM died on my old laptop, I bought it once and worked. Then I wanted to double the RAM size by purchasing the same. But this time I got a defective product. The system's not booting. I even noticed scratches on the chips and faded names over it. Also found that the chips used on the board are different than the working piece I have. This might be due to a different vendor. But the faded names on the chips are surprising for a new product. The First 2 pictures are 2 sides of the defective product and the third one is defective piece on the left and the working one is on the right. What I mentioned above will be visible on these pictures.

I was planing to throw away my old laptop toshiba l500 satellite it had window 10 and was running really slow .one of my friend suggest me to upgrade your ram see how it's work .so I bought this ram at reasonable price installing was easy need to open the back case of laptop when I booted my laptop it was supper fast boot up and web browsing was even supper faster . It worth buying this ram from this seller it's genuine and original product 👌 👏

Revived my old Hp Compaq preserio cq 40 before installing this ram I have only 1 gb ram so I can't install any operating system after installing this 2 gb ram to my first slot and 1 gb to second my laptop become as new now I can easily install windows 10 on this laptop and run without any lag I think in future I will be order one more stick of 2gb ram for max performance.My suggestion for upgrading old laptops first check processor capabilities for supporting maximum ram on Google by easily typing processor name in my case my processor support maximum 4 gb ram.To upgrade old laptop performance as new do these steps:-1.upgrade ram2.change old Hdd to SSD it boosts system performance and saves battery also.3.change old thermal paste and clean fan vents to avoid unnecessary thermal thoratlling in case you don't know how to do that take help of Google or a technical person who knows it these steps will become you laptop as new.
