Round bulb
Good bulb. Hard to find in local stores so I came here to Amazon for it and here it was. It’s in our laundry room.

Good Natural Light Color
Works great and has a much more natural colored light color than the bluish bulb that came with my lamp.Ordered one of these and it arrived with a small bead (approx. 1.5mm diameter) rolling around in the glass bulb. Ordered another one and it too arrived with a similar bead inside of the glass so I guess you might as well expect that little bead in there if you order on of these. It doesn't seem to be an issue in regards to the operation of the bulb.

Appropriate replacement
So far it does the job, no hassle replacing the bulb even though it was my first time. Just FYI, it has a yellow-ish color not white or clear color. Overall I like it.

Dismal failure UPDATE
***DANGER!!!*** DANGER!!!***THANK GOODNESS I happened to be sitting right here! My lamp has no indication of when it is on or off except the bulb being on. It has a twist knob for an on off switch. So the lamp was on but I couldn’t tell because the bulb didn’t light. Sitting at my desk all the sudden the bulb lights up, there’s an aminous humming and smoke pours out of the lamp base!!! DO NOT BUY!!!This specific unit is terrible. The plastic that holds the prongs isn’t solid and where it should be. When installing in the lamp the plastic spun around with a grinding sensation like it was full of pea gravel.There’s a half an inch of the tube that keeps trying to light, the rest, nothing. Old name brands don’t mean anything anymore.Since it makes no sence to try and send it back I’m $10 shorter and back at the start with no light. So I’m giving it a -5 rating. Instead of stars this bulb gets -5 toilets, that’s how crappy it is.
