Yo be honest...purchased this product because it was reduced in price. Instructions were straight forward but it just didn't work. It would not pick up the wifi networks and therefore I could not connect. I found it interesting that the instructions showed pictures of an iPhone so maybe that's why since I have a Droid. I doubt it, but it simply just didn't work. The fact that there were only two reviews before mine should have made me think twice. Oh well.

I could never get this extender set up for my phone. A couple times, I got to the point of entering the password, but then it would freeze with no internet access. I tried probably at least 20 different times to set it up. Most off the time, my at&t android phone would not allow me to set up the network. I don't know if it is at&t, my phone, or my router. I gave it 3 stars, because I see that some people were able to get it working. I couldn't, so I gave it an average rating.

This range extender is the easiest to set up I've found. Does a great job of extending my Wi-Fi range to a bedroom that had a spotty signal. Now I don't have to relocate my router.

The directions state to plug in a cable, but unfortunately there was no cable included with this device. In the directions, it doesn't even say what type of cable to plug in (i.e., ethernet, telephone, etc.), so I have it plugged in to the socket and that's about as far as I can get in extending the range of WiFi on my computer to make pages load faster! I can't give an honest review due to not having or knowing what kind of cable I need.

This extender wasn't too hard to set up and seemed to work fine at first, but then would only work every couple of days. I work from home and need reliable signal so this didn't cut it and became very frustrating to deal with. I've since purchased a TP link one in about the same price range and it's been fantastic and was even easier to set up.

Had it on for like a month and its very unreliable every 2 or 3 day the WiFi extender resets it’s self you have to go throw the settings again it’s very frustrating don’t buy it

Same complaint as some others.... when trying to set up the "extender" mode, it will not recognize my local wifi network with AT&T in order to link it to my network.

I had some dead spots up in my attic. And in the garage and the WiFi extender took care of those places.
