Great taste, quality ingredients
The Ample meal shake comes in a powder form and you add water and shake it up. That’s nice because it is very light to transport and store. You could even bring it on a plane since it’s not liquid. From an ingredient perspective, it is very high quality without a lot of added junk that other similar shakes have. I’d say taste-wise it is comparable to Soylent, maybe a bit better. I would give 5 stars, but even with vigorous shaking I have trouble getting it fully blended, so the texture is a little less smooth than I would like. Other than that, nutrition-wise it is a great choice!

Great Product But Expensive
The Ample concept is a great idea. The bottles ship as a 6 pack with just the powder concentrate and no liquid which I am sure helps the companies shipping costs. It literally does take only 30 seconds (or less) to fill it, shake it and you have yourself a quick meal. While I did enjoy Ample I doubt I will reorder because it is just too expensive. The flavor of the product is good but not great. I like that it has a creaminess to it. I prefer to use an unsweetened almond milk instead of water when I mix up a shake. I also transferred the ingredients to a bullet blender and added a frozen banana and almond milk which was really good too.I hope they are able to work with their suppliers and figure out a way to cut the costs because $7.00 per bottle is just too much especially considering other competitors provide products at lower prices. Maybe they could come out with a large container with a scooper so customers can make it in their own bottles to help lower the cost.

Ample 400 Cal review coming from an University student
As a university student studying Engineering, I’ve been using Ample for the nutrition and the daily lifestyle.I usually find myself drinking Ample in the morning with a 50/50 mixture of almond milk/cold brew coffee. When using this combination the drink is absolutely delicious. I get a coffee kick but not only that I actually feel full. With most meal supplements I have tried I get the feeling that I need to eat something within the next couple of hours. However, Ample keeps me full at least until lunchtime.Another student has been using Ample in the evening so he doesn’t have to go back home to eat.Although this comes in a powder form it only takes about a min to get ready and then you have a whole meal ready to go. I can’t stress how important it is as a student to have something so nutritiously strong and so quick to make. The price has been my only deterrent to regularly order but I will still rate 5 stars because I love using the product so much.Taste:with coffee and almond milk... close to caramel.with just water... Vanilla and CinnamonTexture: Creamy smoothOne of the best things about it is that it doesn’t need to be refrigerated since the product is dry. All you need to do is add cold water.Would absolutely recommend this to someone who is looking for a packed, delicious and easy meal replacement.

Meal supplement maybe, not replacement for active adult male
Appears to have a well-thought out nutritional balance. Taste is OK, with a little aftertaste, but this may depend on what liquid is added to it. At 400 calories, it's not enough for a meal for most normal adults. It might be good for those trying to lose weight and do so with good nutrition. This would be a good product to add to smoothies or other drinks made in a blender.

Tastes pretty good!
It's a simple meal replacement that tastes about like sweetened almond milk, but thicker. My complaints are mainly the high cost and difficulty of mixing it by hand if you don't want chunks. (I'd recommend some kind of little whisk.) It's also not as hydrating as you'd expect for something that contains so much water once you mix it.

Too expensive for the taste
I wanted to love this, but because of the price point, neither mixing this with milk or cold brew coffee delivered the flavor that would keep me as a customer. I am not a regular meal shake consumer, so perhaps it's an acquired taste? I do like the convenience and flexibility of what to mix with the powder.

An energizing backpacking meal!
When your tummy rumbles as you're backpacking through the rain, this "just add water" meal replacement shake satisfied. I appreciate that it comes dehydrated for weight efficiency. The taste is creamy, nutty and better than most meal substitute equivalents that I've tried (looking at you, Arbonne). I now understand why my keto diet friends choose Ample!

Complete and convenient
Decided to give this a try as a convenient “back up” meal that I could always have with me since it didn’t require any refrigeration or special care - just add water when I need it. It was just great to have on those days when I was just too busy to pause and get a solid meal. When mixed, it combined really smoothly and had a nice flavor (not too sweet, didn’t taste like chemical). Because of the fiber and the probiotics, it also kept me regular (which, when you don’t have time to eat solid meals, is a real bonus). Kept me full and on the go when I needed it the most!
