I won these scissors at a line worker’s rodeo 4 years ago. Typically I write long involved reviews, but I’ll keep it very simple for you:These are the best scissors I have ever used, and quite possibly the best scissors ever made.I’m kidding I talk far too much to leave it at that.I use these things for everything - zip ties, small wire, pruning, cutting open those god forsaken blister packages, and etc. They’re supposed to be able to cut through 1/0 AWG but truthfully I’ve never tried. The short blades make for stellar leverage, and the handles fit very nicely on 2 fingers. The grips are.. y’know... grippy... and comfortable. The sheath is solid ABS-like plastic. It has a very small clip at the bottom that grabs your belt or pocket, and keeps you from pulling it off when you go to retrieve the scissors. The blades, as I understand it, are hardened steel and have stood up very well to everything I’ve thrown at them for the past few years. The pivot point is covered by plastic and shows no signs of slack. The blades are still razor sharp. The only place I see any deformation is in the grooves at the base of the blades, which is most likely due to me being an imbecile and using them in a fashion for which they were not designed.Normally this is where I’d list my few gripes but I honestly don’t have any. These are spectacular cutting tools and I’m only bummed I don’t have several pairs. They are very reasonably priced for the quality you receive. I actually get excited when I have a reason to go get these scissors from my toolbox. If you’re on the fence, jump off and buy these awesome scissors!

I bought two of these. One for me, and one for my dad. A coworker has them and they really are awesome scissors for electricians. Great for cutting insulation and fabric. They even cut MC cable although I try to avoid using them on metal.Unfortunately I have to give them four stars, because one pair arrived with a slight burr. You can feel it sort of "click" as you close the scissors.

Broke after a month 2 days after return window closed only lightly being used. Will not be buying again
