HD Audio w/ 7.1 Surround Sound, Noise Isolation and Strong Bass
Audio Quality:The KLIM Impact V2 Headset audio quality genuinely surprised me. The High Definition Audio with 7.1 Surround Sound and Noise Isolation is a truly immersive experience. Coupling this with the KLIM Impact Driver allows the user to customize four different profiles with settings for EQ, Impulse Convolution Effects, Mic Gain, and of course the Virtual 7.1 Surround Sound. The convolution effects are quite interesting to play with. Enjoy singing in the shower? Now you can experience the same audio effects while at the comfort of your gaming station.Volume:These headphones have an incredible amount of gain on them. The amplifier inside of these is doing its job, so you certainly won't have any issues hearing communication over them. That being said, turn down the volume a bit before you test these out. Do it for your eardrums.Noise Isolation:An important note I want to make is that Noise Cancellation requires an active filtration of the environment, whereas Noise Isolation simply muffles this noise. This headset does a very good job at isolating noise. Factor in the gain on these, and you can easily drown out any unwanted sounds.Microphone:Like the headphones, the detachable microphone on the KLIM Impact V2 has an incredible amount of default gain. Initially, when loading into Discord, my team members could hear every sound around me. Make sure to use the Mic Settings in the Impact Driver to tune your gain as desired. In the past I have had issues with removable microphones, so I like that fact that this has a lock on it, and as long as you keep it in place, the quality is better than other removable aux mics I've used.Build and Feel:This headset feels nice and durable, it was clearly made with quality products. I prefer the dark matte finish on the exterior and the suspension headband assures a good fit. That being said, KLIM does specify that this headset was designed to be a bit snugger on the head. For me, the clamping force pressure point of these rest just below the ears. I'd like to comment on how cool these stay for extended periods of wear. The longest I have worn them directly over my ears is about 45 minutes, and they stayed decently cool. The rest of the time, I wear these with a hood on, because I am used to doing it with past headsets and I find it comfortable. My ears don't get hot, and I find that this mitigates any pressure applied by clamping force. This headset also comes with hand-help controls that are convenient for volume adjustment and toggling mute for the mic.Service:KLIM has incredible customer service, and you can tell that they really care that you enjoy their product. The packaging came with a nice envelope and letter that proved for an entertaining and enjoyable read.

Great quality headset for a very friendly budget!
This headset has been a pleasure to use. Often times, a product that runs cheaper priced than most will reflect in quality and performance, however, this headset did not fall short of perfect for me.Construction: The headset is very nicely made. You can tell that the use of quality product were implemented into it. I have always been rather skeptical on the type of leathery ear pieces due to them getting sweaty over use, making your ears hot, and sticking to your head. With that being said I have generally always purchased headsets with more of a cloth or mesh-type ear piece. This headset did NOT get hot for me, even after wearing for an hour so that is definitely a plus! Detachable mic is a great feature and the volume and mic control is VERY responsive. Other players were able to hear me without any issues.Sound Quality: Probably the most important feature of all is the sound quality. Now, I am very skeptical on sound quality and the overall affect of surround sound due to extensive gaming. The 7.1 feature of the headset is by far one of the best and most accurate I have seen. Sounds are very crisp and clear leaving you with no second guesses when someone is about to run up behind you! Warning, this headset can get LOUD. Which can definitely be great but when coupled with the noise cancellation I consider this to be an added feature. The best part about that is, as previously described, the responsiveness of the volume control! If the volume is maxed out on the headset, I can hold the volume down button and the volume will decrease rapidly, or I can tap it to the desired volume easily as well.Ease of Use: There is not much to speak on about this topic. The product is plug and play, I did not install anything and it was working within 10 seconds of my initial plug-in time.At the end of the day, this is a great quality headset, especially for the price. This headset has outdone my Turtlebeaches by far and they were over double the price. I would definitely recommend this headset to any avid pc gamer and even those who just enjoy watching a movie on their laptops. These will also be my go to for air travel!

Good quality medium tier headphones for the price.
I have been using this headset for a little over a month. The headset seems to be made of good quality and does what it is meant to do. I have others told me that my voice sounds a lot better with the microphone on this headset.Pros:- Passive noise isolationActually works compared to my old headset. Noticable reduction in ambient noise and voice volume of others. Have to actually take my headset off to hear others clearly.- Quality sound and microphoneThe sound quality on this headset is great. Excellent for gaming and decent for listening to music. Audio volume is loud. On my old headset I had to turn it to 50% whereas on the Klim headset I would use 34% max.Cons:- Runs a little hotHeadset runs hot at times especially during long sessions. Of course this varies per individual depending on their perspiration rate and can be avoided by taking breaks between shorter sessions. Running hot is in part due to the excellent noise isolation capability on this head, designed to trap sound and heat at the same time.- Control buttonsThe tangible control buttons are in theory a good added feature but in practise this particular design is flawed. The control module is rather big and buttons are not recessed, making it very easy for you to accidentally bump into them and mute yourself without knowing. The LED light on the buttons are also faint making it harder to know that you have accidentally muted yourself, and there are no LED light on the mic which could have been added to address this problem. For this flaw, I have deducted a star. But otherwise, this is a nice headset for the price. If improvements can be made to the control module, this headset can compete against the biggest brands in terms of price, quality and comfort.
