Great for daily meds, not great for vitamins or long trips
We bought this to manage prescriptions that need to be taken morning and evening. It works really well for regular meds and helps with compliance. However, there are a few drawbacks. It does take up some room on the counter, but that works for us because the colors are pretty and we don't mind it being out. Loading each of the days is a little tricky, because it's hard to hold open the little lids with one hand while putting the pills in with the other. It is possible to take the hinged lid completely off to load them, but putting them back on again takes a steady hand. Large vitamins (like the Ester-C my husband takes) don't really fit with the other meds, but that's okay with us. If we travel for a few days, it's nice to take those boxes out of the organizer and into a travel bag, but I don't think I would want to try to travel with the whole month organizer because it would be difficult to get them to stay in the tray. Overall, this is exactly what we needed and it's worth the trouble of loading it.

Great pill organizer!
Great dispenser if you take meds 2x a day. Some of the compartments are a bit difficult to get open, but none are looose and pop open so that’s good! I love that you can take your daily dose with you in your purse in such a small sub container!

No more missed dosages!
Like that I am able to dispense a full month of my meds at one time. This set of containers has two compartments, one for AN and one for PM. No more missed dosages. My only dislike is that for me the tops are a little difficult to open. Takes a few days to get the task down pat.

Great product!
Just got my container today and filled the entire month of meds in a snap. Each individual container lid snaps tight so they don't pop open easily. The lids when you open both am and pm lifts off for easy filling. Each days container is easily removed from the base when needing to take meds. The size of each compartment holds all my 7 pills and 2 are rather large. I would have given it 5 stars but when lifting the entire container it is a like tricky you have to lift from the base or the containers will come out too easily. Over all I am very pleased with the product.

Sort and Fill ONCE a Month (tips on using)
I had been using 4x/day (28 box sorter trays) two of them to sort out my pills for 4 weeks at a time. But my trays were wearing out after several years of use and I decided to give this a try. I like the small daily “pods” of am/pm. One thing I really like is I don’t have to fish the tiny pills out of the container, I can just pour them all directly in my mouth, something that’s not really possible with even the weekly sorters. Having them as individual days also allows you to customize your sorter. Here’s my best tips.Pick a day of the week that you’d like to start on. I like to refill on Sunday night so I start my month with the 1st Monday of the month. (See photo of June 2019 starting on Monday the 3rd.)Label the days of the week along the edge of the white tray.Since the white tray the daily boxes sit in 8 across and only 4 rows, every month but February will leave you with pods that need to go in the 8th slot. I have them running back up the side with the smiley extras box at the top. If it’s only a 30 day month I put the 31 upside down before the smiley box. (See photo)Decide on how you want to deal with the daily boxes when you’ve taken that days meds. I have tried 2 ways. The first was to turn the box over so the date no longer showed so I knew my next box was the next one with a date showing. The method I ended up with was putting the empties in basket I keep all my bottles in. Makes it easier to tell on a pre-coffee morning with no glasses on.I hope this helps you! My cat apparently thought so too when she decided to lay down in the middle of my shot. Oh and I’m not missing a box it was out of the frame, probably under the cat.

Good quality but boxes have no main top to keep them in tray.
I like that the individual boxes for night and day for one date come out to take with you but I wish it had a top so the items don’t fall out of the tray. So hard to keep them together.

Perfect for kids that take meds
I got these for my son to go on a month long trip with his grandparents. It was nice to make sure that his AM/PM pills were all accounted for and ready to go. Since then I have found that I love the individual containers even more for weekend travel. We just grab the couple days we need and go.I have always involved my son in the preparation and care of this medication. I want him to be informed of what he takes and when should I not be available. So for years now it has been part of his job to prep his pills for the week in his older container. He LOVES that he only has to do this once a month now. I love that he knows on the 1st if he is going to be running low on something later in the month and I can order then.

Human Proof!
Don't bother. I was excited to get this. When it came I immediately grabbed my pills and started to fill them. Some were hard to open, but I figured because they were brand new. Now, 20 days into it, I'm on the verge of throwing the whole damn thing in the garbage, WITH my pills.I can't get half of these open. Squeezing, pushing, pulling, nothing. I've broken two nails (i don't really have nails to start with) and tore up my fingers. If I wanted to make getting my pills an event, I would just get child proof tops at the pharmacy and tie my hands behind my back. It would STILL be easier than trying to open these little minions of hell.
