The 200-degree wide-angle view is kind of a fisheye view. The image is clear but tiny. Works as it should and the security flap on the inside ensures that nobody can look in. Easy to install if you aren't afraid to drill a half inch hole through your door. For that reason, be very sure of where you want to install it! I would recommend that you look through it and see if the image works for you before you drill the hole.

Installed this a couple months ago. All seemed fine, install was easy but it was a little blurry and difficult to see through. One day when I opened my door it fell apart and onto the floor. Come to find out its all plastic and that's why you don't get crisp sight. Pretty disappointed that it came apart and now I just have an open tunnel in my door.

It was easy to install, and it looks pretty good. The wide flanges on each half are great for covering up defects, if you don't quite drill a perfect hole during install. The clarity isn't quite top notch, but still a really good value.

This product shipped fast and is amazing quality. You will need a large drill bit not included, but installation is easy. This is not a plastic only product but metal which is better. The viewing provided a wider lens and much more for viewing unlike the older tiny peepholes where you need to squint. Amazing quality and product.

Make sure you have the right tools if you pick this one, it might be a better value to get one with the included drill bit. The functionality is exactly as expected.

Installed nicely, but noticed when looking through it there are some weird chips on the outside and lots of dust and scratches inside. Didn't notice until looking out to bright light. Don't want to uninstall and leave a home in my door to replace. Scratches are bad enough to do that for.

Absolute garbage. Blurry. Cheap crap. Waste of money. I can't say anything positive. Thought I'd replace our 30-year-old front door and update the peep from a gold to the matte black. We'll have to live with a old gold, because you can't see through this one.
