Not working as a flea deterrent
Dogs coat looks great. But not that good of a deterrent for the fleas here in the boonies of WV.!These fleas seem to be immune to most collars and treatments other than diatomaceous earth. So I thought I'd try this Natural solution. My poor Dachshund was covered in the things and starting to get weak and lose weight from no apatite and age. I'm adding a little more garlic to see if it'll improve the protection this is supposed to afford. They don't bite me often because I love Garlic also eat onions but not my dog! My meds help too.He refused them and had to add to a treat but now he seems to like the flavor since he bit into one and discovered the taste! ;) I have to scratch it with a fingernail to get more sent though. Also giving him antibiotics and some Vitamin A to help him battle this plague of fleas. The Apt. complex I live at refuses to do anything about the stray cats that keep them here but will sure call on a stray dog! >:(I have NEVER seen a Rat here, which they use to justify not taking away the cats. The native Allegany Wood Rat hasn't been seen in the wild here for 50+ years! But there's plenty of Voles for the strays to feed off of. And of course plenty of other wildlife for the bloodsuckers to feed on too.BUT as stated His coat looks great!!!

I use it as a flea preventative
All 6 dogs, ranging from a chihuahua mix to a pure great dane LOVE these! I simply add them to my dogs kibble and they chomp it down.I live on 6 acres in the south, I have ponds, every type of foliage as well as several acres of forest complete with critters. So yes my property has fleas. I do not give them any other type of flea prevention. I have yet to have a flea problem in the house.I discovered these with my older dog who passed some time ago who had a weakened immune system and a constant flea problem after she turned 10. I tried every type of flea prevention from over the counter, prescription, topical and oral. Nothing worked. She was miserable and losing fur. Tried this as a last resort. That was about 10 years ago and never looked back!Plus you CANNOT beat that price!

Keeps fleas and ticks away naturally FOR REAL
My dog, Cowboy, has skin sensitivity issues and I felt like chemical flea and tick medications from the vet were contributing. I had read that yeast and garlic were natural repellents but was skeptical how effective it would be on my 80 lb. long haired dog. Cowboy and I are active, frequently going camping, hiking, kayaking. I’ve been adding 4 tablets to his food bowl every morning for about 9 months now and it’s the end of July. I’ve found a couple of ticks just hanging on his fur after a trail, but he hasn’t had any to bite him. And I haven’t seen the first flea! Adding this product, in addition to changing his food to Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin has made a world of difference for Cowboy! I can’t speak to the taste, but he seems to enjoy them. Occasionally, he will leave one uneaten in the bowl, though. I just toss that one out and give him an extra the next morning.

great for cats
I give 3 or 4 of these a day to each of my cats. I put them on their kibbles in the morning. They always eat these first.I have one cat who is highly allergic to flea saliva. She gets scabs all over her body. I use a topical flea med on all my cats, but this one still gets scabs. If she gets her yeast EVERY day, no scabs. I also have to give her the flea meds every 3 weeks instead of 4 weeks to keep her scab free. She also gets 0.5 mg of prednisone when ever the scabs get really bad or don't go completely away (or remain gone) when she has gotten her flea meds and yeast.

Good product.
I can tell you this. I have 3 large dogs, a Great Dane. A St. Bernard and a Lab. Only one will take it daily, the Lab, the other two, it’s a major fight. But, guess what? The one dog taking it daily has had 0 problems with fleas, ticks, or any other type of insect bite. The 2 dogs not taking it daily because I refuse to fight with them have to have their once a month treatment, as well as every few day baths which they also hate, and flea and tick collars that they constantly remove from each other...the only problem is they do not taste like meat or any other type of treat. They smell like vitamins, and if it doesn’t taste like meat or peanut butter these two knuckleheads of mine will not eat it and they will clamp their jaws shut and refuse to open them. I don’t care how many times you try to pry them open with your fingers on the side of their mouth...

It really works!
I bought these tablet because I heard they may help with tick problem. I gave my two young dogs 3 tablets a day (they are about 60lbs). The dogs gobbled them up happily, but they are not picky. I was disappointed because it didn't seem to make a difference at all with ticks after 2 weeks. But I did notice their coats were getting so soft and silky (they still shed alot because it's summertime). So I just figured I would finish out the bottle since it did work for their coats. But after about a month total of taking the tablets, I stopped finding ticks on the dogs. Tick free for weeks now. So it really does work for ticks!! It just takes awhile to get in their system enough to deter the ticks. I highly recommend this product for both of these great results!
