Only 1 had a strap that broke; however, it was resolved through Amazon without a problem. I have some folders that can’t fit because it is larger than letter size, so if you have legal size folders-this will not work for you. If you have too many documents, I would recommend laminating your documents and it should hold up 50 per folder. You will also help the risk of the documents from being torn. It is a suggestion for documents that will need to be copy option on the go! But if you don’t use legal size paper or folders - this is the Best Buy for your money without any serious concerns about safety! Tip: Please use disinfectant wipes if it is too sticky for you! Don’t worry because it is waterproof for sure! I hope we never have to know if it survives through a fire, but it is the best filing folder system I’ve ever purchased!

This expanding file system works in a pinch, but we wouldn't purchase it again. Someone ought to develop one of these with a more easily accessible alphabetizing system (top tabs). We can never see the letters easily, making hunting for documents laborious. You also can't fit much in each slot--a few pages at most. Forget storing thicker things like old passports or other bulk documents. And the plastic sheets are very delicate--easily torn.All in all, we're still using ours but don't expect it to hold up more than another year. So we're already looking for a permanent alternative. The major benefit, though we haven't tested it, of the Spardis is that it's supposed to be fire resistant...

Needs to have a Slot outside for naming each folder, I have 4 of these, one for each of the family members to store important documents like Birth Certificates, Passport, Social Security Cards etc.

This fireproof expanding file folder exceeded my expectations. It’s made of high quality material and it can fit a lot documents inside. I use this to store all my important records. The carry handle makes it easy to grab and go and the included labels allow me to organize each tab. The zipper is very durable and I like that I’m able to lock it with a suitcase lock.

I actually liked this zippered file folder- until one of the zippers came off! As I was unable to contact the seller directly, I posted a Luke warm review, but the seller noticed, contacted me, and is sending me a replacement, which says a lot in this day and age of get the money and run business practices!
