Was Supposed to be a Gift
I have been using various inks for years and I like the performance of the Monteverde brand. I wanted to share that experience with a friend and thought this would make a good gift. But once I was holding it, I knew there was no way I would follow through - it was mine! Before you tisk-tisk me, I did get them something equally as nice.If you are thinking of actually giving it to someone, this is a nice assortment of quality inks and it is in a nice presentation package. Just about anyone that uses fountain pens would be happy to receive it. Maybe that someone is even you?

Lovely inks
My only difficulty with the ink package was that the cap for the green ink cracked in transit. Once I transferred it into a new bottle, it was fine. The inks are all beautiful and the price was well worth it.

mouldy inks
4 of the 10 inks had a vile sulphur smell and were unusable, the caps were on so tight they needed tools to get them off. Not recommended.
