COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW : looks and performs as the origional manufactured battery that came with my new phone (g900p ) 2 yrs ago
The battery and charger arrived quickly. Nice. Upon examination the battery appeared to be the real deal and not a knock off. It also looked new and not refurbished as others I have seen which do not perform well with time. I have always been skittish in buying a replacement battery for the above concerns I usually order directly from the manufacturer but in this case there was a significant back order for this battery and the price was very high. This company represented the battery as the manufacturer product and were more explicit with the specs. When I charged the battery using the basic charger it came with a charge of 22% on my phones measurement readout. I didnt expect a fully charged battery that was two years old and if original, sitting on a shelf. That was not my concern as this battery could be new but unused for 2 plus years. This then would be inline with normal discharge over time. After a six hour charge the battery read 95% when I placed it in the phones battery charge read out. All went well with no surges or apps going disfunctional. As I didn't need the replacement immediately I put my original back in and stored the replacement battery now at 95% with no drop off over a short two week layoff. I decided to wait a few weeks before permanently replacing batteries and see how well this" new" battery would hold the charge with time .Prior to this battery my phone has been showing signs of over heating (battery and cpu) according to an app I recently downloaded for monitoring phone functions. I feel confident this newly purchased battery will do the job nicely even though it has not been been tested except for short petiods. The charger is a little flimsy and uses "idiot lights" to indicate charging and charged but I really didnt expect much more at this price . Digital read out chargers are more expensive then the cost I paid for battery and charger together. The charger is adequate and should last long past the year I am hoping to keep this phone (that would be a total of 3 plus years total with plenty of daily use ). I really like the s5 model and it will be difficult to replace it as I have grown fond of its multi function use for my specific purposes. Besides the pre installed apps and those that I felt I needed this phone and battery has served me well with no problems until recently with some overheating probably do to background apps. I can sense a battery replacement will be necessary and I wanted the new battery to be an original manufactured part specfic to this line of phones. I have seen other batteries that claim to meet the same specs but I tend to be wary of non manufacturer parts even if they are cheaper. We all have heard the horror stories of people in trying to save a few bucks use a battery not made by or for their specific model and end up blowing out the basic functionality of their phone. All phones with time start showing their age as this one is beginning . However , the new battery has at least solved some overheating problems in the short periods I have used it. When reading users comments there are some strong negatives but many more " excellent" comments. So far with some short tests I am pleased. If problems do occur I will amend this review to reflect the nature of those problems. So far so good.I WILL UPDATE IN SEVERAL WEEKS.1/18/17 : TWO MORE WEEKS HAVE PASSED AND STILL AFTER THE ORIGINAL CHARGE ,SOME MINOR USE AND REPLACED BACK INTO THE ORIGINAL PACKAGE UPON TESTING IT DID NOT DISCHARGE. IT IS STILL REGISTERING 95% . (THAT WAS THE FULL CHARGE IT TOOK IN 6 HOURS AND IT HAS MAINTAINED THIS POWER LEVEL WITH SOME INFREQUENT USE AND WEEKS OF STORAGE. THE APP I USE FOR PHONE MAINTANANCE HAS GIVEN THIS BATTERY A HEALTHY GRADE. AS I ORIGINALLY STATED "IT APPEARS TO BE THE ORIGINAL BATTERY MANUFACTURED FOR THIS PHONE (MODEL G900...... IF I HAD ANY INDICATION THAT IT WASNT EITHER BY APPEARANCE OR ACTUAL FUNCTION THE CORRECT BATTERY FOR MY PHONE THIS BATTERY WOULD HAVE BEEN RETURNED. AS I AM KEEPING IT I AM VERY PLEASED WITH ITS PERFORMANCE. THE CHARGER WAS ABLE TO GIVE THIS BATTERY A 95% CAPACITY CHARGE WHICH IS CERTAINLY MORE THAN ADEQUATE . IF I HADN'T ALREADY GIVEN THE PRODUCT AND THE COMPANY 5 STARS I DO SO NOW. FOR THE FEW THAT ARE DISATISFIED IN THEIR REVIEWS WITH THEIR PURCHASE I CAN ONLY THINK THAT THEY MAY HAVE OTHER INTERNAL PHONE ISSUES OR THEIR OUTLET AT HOME DURING CHARGING IS NOT PRODUCING THE CORRECT VOLTAGE (JUST AN EDUCATED GUESS).

Seems like it is Ok.
Ordered one of these kits on the 15th, and received it yesterday. I immediately inserted the battery, and began its first charging cycle. After a few hours I disconnected the charger from the outlet (indicator light still light purplish in color), just to see what degree of charge would be on the battery. After putting it in my phone I saw that the battery percentage sat at 72%. Ok, so I thought that another hour, or so, might put my battery at 100%. Well, it turned out that I had a number of errands to run, which translated into my being away from home for 3-4 hours? Not long after returning I remembered that the battery was still charging in that cradle. I placed the battery back in my phone, and saw that it now gave a 100% rate of charge reading. However, the charger's indicator light remained purplish. It NEVER turned blue.Because of this I am left with feelings of concern. This charger has no regulatory elements in place, to insure against overcharging, and the instructions made a clear statement regarding the importance of removing the battery, from the charger, once the indicator showed full, complete charge (blue light). The blue light DOES show, but ONLY when I inserted the battery WITHOUT having it (the charger) inserted into the outlet. Without this device giving the colored notice, as it should, there is no way that I could tell how long my battery might have been at 100% - and (possibly) being over charged.I bought this device because of the USB charging connector, in my S5, being broken. That was the 2nd time that I had such an issue with the same phone, and the first time it was repaired under warranty. I am on my own with it, now, and thought that giving a shot to an external charging unit just might be the best bet, for me. I'd have given this little kit 5-stars, were it not for the blue light failure issue. Outside of that, this device does what it has stated it would do. I am going to contact the seller to see what might be able to be done to set the matter totally right, for me. With that being done I will come back here and upgrade my rating to 5-stars.But, for now, I don't think that it would have been fair to rate it any less than 4-stars.UPDATE!!This morning, I emailed the seller regarding concerns over a replacement. In less than half an hour I received a response from them. They were more than willing to retest another one, and send it out to me. They were SO nice, and very considerate about things. However, just before I received their email. I had contacted my wife (who was at work) and asked if she was the one who had removed my charger from the outlet. My main concern was what color the charging indicator was. I was so happy to find that it had been BLUE. For that, I have upgraded my previous 4-star rating to 5-stars. I let the seller know of my deep appreciation for their willingness to help in this matter - AND to inform them of this updated matter.Very happy for my purchase of this device, and would (without doubt) buy from them again.

Not comparable life to OEM. But, Ok for spare
When this battery arrived, I allowed it to charge overnight on the supplied charger. The existing battery in my Galaxy S5 is about two years old. It's not lasting all day anymore. So, I was seeking a new one. This battery showed no improvement. I used it for about two weeks, and switched back to the old battery which actually seems slightly superior to the new one. I do not like to write unfavorable reviews. But, I have to be honest. The price is very good. The external charger is useful. For a spare battery it's okay. But, if you are expecting new Samsung battery performance, you will be disappointed.

Works well, but curious on the indicator light.
Nice to have if one has multiple batteries for their S5. Allows one to pop one out and pop the charged one in. Additionally, this makes the batteries last longer if they are fully discharged instead of charging and discharging an area on the battery which weakens the cells in a location. The charger often charges slower than advertised. Additionally, the indicator light is confusing, but as far as I can tell, if one plugs the device in the wall, it will change from pink to purple to blue. To reach blue, it often takes longer than it should which makes me wonder if that component might be a bit defective or it truly takes that long to charge. Still, handy to have.
