I have, on occasion, used the turtle fungus bath when I notice any signs of turtle rot on the shells of my turtles. I guess that it works, because after using it the rots go away and my turtles are healthy at 12 years of age. One turtle in particular recovered remarkably. When I rescued him as a newborn, he had been dropped on top of a tall statue, (by a bird predator?), and his shell was as soft as apple sauce because he was baking in the hot sun and without access to water. After using this product, with some ordinary vitamin D vitamins, his shell was as hard as a rock in about a week. Yes, I would recommend this product.

This was a great buy! One of my baby aquatic turtles had a fungus spot on the back of its shell that spread throughout its body due to some faulty lighting I had set up :( The fungus spread to my other turtle not long after. I’ve been applying the product directly on their body and letting them dry off under new lighting for about a week or so and can see a HUGE change! The turtle who caught the fungus second has completely healed. The turtle who developed the fungus first is still healing but it’s definitely reduced and its dark green patterns are more visible! I’m so happy

Stop putting the picking / stocking label over the instructions!!! Purchased 2 so far and they are both like this. If you try to remove the label it tears off the instructions.

Recently, my colony of land snails were all becoming mysteriously afflicted with what appeared to be something akin to hoof rot in horses. There's virtually no practical information available on maintaining snails as pets, and even less pertaining to what might have been wrong with them. Though this is not labeled for use on molluscs (what is, though?), every single one of them was slowly dying from what appeared to be a fungus eating away at their shells. Out of desperation, I tried this product, saturating the shell while being careful to avoid getting any onto their bodies. Within the first application they were perking up, and their bodies, which had become hardened no matter how many times I rinsed them under warm water, started softening up. I honestly wasn't holding out much hope, only using this as a first and last resort, but I was amazed at how quickly it saved their lives.I now keep a bottle of this on hand for emergencies, or to use on new snails before I take them out of isolation. I have also used it with success on more than one deeply retracted snail, a condition whose origins are usually unknown and is almost always fatal. Everyone gets this once a month just as a prevention now, and while some seem more sensitive to it than others, there have been no adverse reactions. I would give this more than five stars, if I could, and will go so far as saying this is an essential if you keep terrestrial snails.
