Moebius Batman 1966 TV Series: Batman Model Kit (1:8 Scale)

Requires a little work expected with model kits like minor sanding but the clear instructions make assembly easy. Selecting/creating the colors used to paint it is up to the user.

It's a Moebius kit, so the high quality isn't surprising but since I have never built one of their figure kits I wasn't sure what to expect. The engineering for this model is fantastic. Not very many parts and they fit together extremely well. Only a small amount of filling and sanding will be needed to hide a few seams. The head sculpt is a very good likeness of Adam West, and the two piece face/cowl design makes for a much better looking result. Very nice kit. I will probably get the rest of the set if they are all as good as this.

Having only returned to the hobby recently when I built this kit, I was very pleased with how it turned out. The face does look quite like Adam West, and the kit fits together very well, although to do it justice there is a fair amount of puttying and sanding to eliminate the seams where Batman doesn't have any. I did the majority of the painting with my airbrush, with only small details and touch ups using a hand brush. The only real complaint I had with the kit was the supplied 'Batrope', which is stiff and brown. I picked up a spool of white braided thread at the local fabrics shop which looks just like the real thing and was in perfect scale for the figure. I recommend this kit for any fan of the '66 series who has a moderate level of modeling skills.

A nice piece of Collection and an incredible model sculpted by Jeff Yeagher. It's easy to assemble, you don't have to be a professional. It takes me a day and a half but the result worth it. First, you must follow every instruction to build it the way it must be, if you don't it's a mess !

Awesome detail and went together with almost no seam lines!

If you have a few hours and some decent model paint, this is a super easy kit. Mine came out looking just as good as the image on the box without requiring any great skill. Parts are separated well so that it can be painted easily. It looks AWESOME when finished.
