Excellent result.
Covered up a grotty old fire surround and inset which had been previously painted in white gloss. This now looks like a lovely stone fireplace. It wasn't the best idea for me to paint the top / mantlepiece area as naturally dust will settle and you cant really flick it off with a duster as it catches. I have been using an old paintbrush which works ok. I believe there is a `smooth' surface paint which would have probably worked better for the top, will look at going over with that or some type of heat resistant varnish perhaps? But overall, very happy with the result.

Wow
Disliked nothing about this paint. I followed instructions. Sand it first. 2 coats of prime. 3 coats of paint. Was done in 1 day. Well worth the money. Will buy just the paint next time for touch ups. WHAT A GREAT PRODUCT. Pics before and after

Don’t waste your money and time !
Original colour cream Put 3 coats primer and 3 coats of paint using a roller as described on tin £50 that was all of the product used . It came out patchy dirty sand colour as you can see from photos , when I contacted seller they said I should have used a natural bristle brush ( which was option 2 to use on tin which I pointed out to them ) they then said the back panel is not classed as a fireplace !!! And I needed more paint ! I said fire surround would have been the wording used then not fireplace paint as it indicates enough for a fire place and if you see from the photo the back panel is minimal ! At £50 it was a complete waste of money ! I then bought a can of heat resistant paint for £15 and sprayed it , it now looks like a cleaner version of my original which is what I wanted . For once I thought o would do it properly and go expensive , what a waste of 2 days of painting and £50 . The seller wasn’t any help and amazon wouldn’t help as the paint had been used ! Shocking from amazon as I am a prime member and order stuff several times weekly ! NOT HAPPY AT ALL

Great finish but pricey
Whilst rather pricey it does leave a great finish. I did need to do two layers of primer and four of top coat

Fireplace transformed!
Brilliant products, dead easy to use. I would recommend not using a foam roller however as it doesn’t cover as well as a regular one.
