We have been buying these for maybe 6 years now? It's elegant and doesn't look like a junky or messy "pet thing" in our living room, office and bedroom where we keep these. Our two cats often not just use these for nails but also love to take turn sleeping on these -go figure. When one side is done and isn't as good anymore (3-6 months, depends on which room) we turn it over to the opposite side and it looks like new until this side is done too.The thing I love the most is that the density and thickness of the corrugation is better than any other cat scratchers we try. Others simply fall apart and pieces of cardboards are just hanging or are found far from the scratcher. They fray. These stay stable and together for a long time and the cats prefer these as it gives them the tension/resistance they desire, rather than falling apart under the cat's strength. We have had grown up guests sitting on them (mistaking them for stools). It's safe for two people to stand on stable. Can't recommend enough. Worth the extra money as you won't replace so many times as often.

This is really high quality and my cat loves it… but it’s HUGE.Make sure you check the measurements because it was a lot bigger than I planned for. It’s worth the price, just make room for your new cat love seat.

These are worth the price. I ended up buying a second one. I have 7 cats and they love these. They lounge on them and scratch on them. They are well made, thick and last a long time.

and it's so much better than the cheaper versions we've been getting from the local pet stores that are smaller. They aren't the same shape, but are curved. You could turn them over to be "reversible". But it's not comfortable for them to lay on as it was in the upright position. The old ones also wore out so quickly with little cardboard bits all over the house. Especially in our female cat's, Elise's, longer fur or tail if she's not been groomed short to a "lion's cut". The cardboard bits were a nightmare. In our bed, all over everything! She they drove her nuts when she was bathing, trying to spit them out.This is a much larger piece (we had two of the old ones pushed together before), the cardboard seems to be of a much better quality. I just love the shape and the fact that we can just flip it over as it wears out. I loved the little care tip it gave about using a comb for loose cardboard and my kitties IMMEDIATELY jumped on it and started scratching on it. And our male, Darth Tader, fell asleep promptly after his session. Much to the disappointment of his momma! Lol... They fit perfectly on it and it's large, but fits just fine where we had the old ones.I originally saw this on My Cat From Hell I've have been searching for it, since. I'm so glad I finally thought to check Amazon!Certainly worth the price seeing how much my fur babies love and enjoy it! I'm looking forward to seeing how it fairs over time. Especially with Tader's "talons" lol he's gentle. No biting, scratching, hissing or anything . But he has some major, curved claws that I try to trim. I tried training him since he was quite young, since he was born here. But I slacked off. He is patient, sometimes, though. But this new scratcher/recliner is his new favorite spot when he's not snuggling or in a window.We highly recommend this! I still plan to update if we have any issues whatsoever in the future!***It's now July 15th, about 3 months after I purchased this scratcher. It literally shows barely any use! Then last week, while my older sister came to visit from out of state, she cleaned the carpets. Neither myself nor my dad (who I live with in his condo) are physically capable to do such work. She came out to see my dad since he'll be going onto dialysis within the year and we've not seen her since '08.Anyway, she had tilted the scratcher at an angle against a pedestal scratcher/lounger covered in carpet to kind of move it out of the way. Oh boy! Kitty chaise lounge! We've moved it's location, but left it at that angle and they're loving the extra stretches they get at that angle, they sleep on it and even when awake will lay on it and watch what's going on, but with their bums in the air! LolI'm still VERY impressed by the durability of it. The very, very little cardboard shedding and the all around joy my two fur babies get out of it. By now, the old cardboard scratchers I used to buy would be in very poor shape and cardboard would be everywhere, driving us insane. We'd have to smack them to get all the cardboard bits out and there'd still be tons the cats would track around. You'd get out of the shower and you'd have it stick to your feet. Even though you could've sworn you didn't see any. Worse than walking with wet feet in front of a litter box. Plus they'd already have major dents in them from favorite scratching positions and spots. I'd be thinking it was time to buy new ones. So this one is already on the way to paying for itself!I couldn't resist a happy update! I'll take pics and post them as soon as I remember to. I am a month out from a fourth major back surgery and still my medication for pain makes my brain a bit "mushy". But there's no confusion with this product! I'm even looking at more, once I can save enough. :) they love to dive into the little holes. So I'm looking for one that has a larger space inside. Like a hidey hole. I think they'll love that! I also want to put up shelves for them on the walls, leading up to where they already get up to, above the cabinets on top of a wall. It's open from above the cabinets to the ceiling and they even can cross this little part where we walk under to get from the living room to the kitchen/dining room. It's "their area"! I thought about putting a scratcher on the entertainment center, where they hop to from that wall, as well.I'm very glad I bought this! So are Elise and Darth Tader!**

Love the petfusion cat scratchers! Had to buy this one because they no longer make the large long lounge scratcher. Cats started clawing and laying on it right away. I will never buy the cheap flimsy ones again! This brand lasts a very long time and it is much better quality than any others on the market!

I woke up this morning to a sight of my cat scratcher have gave it all up, collapsed, crushed, destroyed beyond recognized. Huhhh...! :( guess I need a new one. Thinking about it for a moment where to get a new one that would be as strong and last quite a long time like this one that'd just gave up. I decided to check on Amazon for what's new/available in the market. Upon a few clicks, I found one that looks similar to mine which brought me to this product page... first thing that caught my attention, "Last purchased January 19, 2014".... wait...?! 2014??! I was still in disbelieve.. that I've had this cat scratcher for that long?? as I recalled I had it probably 6-7 yrs max... Checking how much I'd paid for this last time... $79.95 before tax??! Thinking to myself, I was stupidly crazy to spend $8X.xx for a cat scratcher 10 yrs ago??! After everything starts to settle in... I realized yes, I bought this 10 yrs ago! and that $8X.xx/10 yrs life span came down to just $9/yr after rounding, it's not that bad! This thing was build like a tank! OK $8X.xx was totally justified its price. Maybe I should order it again... clicked back to it's product page, ready to cough up another $8X.xx to re-order... WTF!!! It's now $49.95??! Hell!!.. at this new price point, it's no brainer! Guys! if you are on the fence whether to spend $49.95 for this stupid glued together corrugate cat scratcher that doesn't feel like it should cost that much to begin with, then, compares to the other available cheaper options listed here on Amazon. Let me tell you this... this thing were build like tank with super high quality, tough, and dense layers of corrugate papers that's built to last, tough like a Toyota. The other brands mostly use super thin and wider spaced layers of corrugate papers to achieve the similar volume and size of this brand! Don't be fooled with a few $$ cheaper. This is the real deal and with this new price point, I'm happily re-order another one.PS. I have two mid size cats who (each) used this scratcher 10+ times daily + 1 big size cat in its last 6 months of its life span and it last me 10 yrs!! Guys! stop thinking about it! just order!! you won't be disappoint.
