Q: Should you size up or down. i wear a us 10 and i see 43 = 9 3/4 or 43.5 = 10 1/4 .. what size should i get?

I have a 45.5 and in runnng shoe I wear size 11.5. Can’t find the sizing chart but thinking size down. My pearl izumi tri shoes are 46.5

Q: What makes a triathlon shoe different? If I'm doing normal long-distance road cycling outside of a triathlon, should I not get these?

Normal long distance cycling... kind of a oxymoron. but as an ultra cyclist, triathlon shoes are far more comfortable than racing shoes. The attack angle of the sole, the quick dry features and the more broad top of foot compression are all assets to riding in any weather, dealing with feet swelling and skin irritations.

Q: I have heard the sizing can be a little odd. Can I return them if they don’t fit and have not been used?

The sizing is odd. I did return mind, but before riding. I wear a womens 10 and ordered a 44 (going off the shoe size of another model) and it was about a size too big, so I returned them and ordered a 43 which fit perfectly.

Q: Fizik lists this shoe as unisex. any woman with narrow feet out there tried it? i own the road fizik r5b donna (woman specific) thanks!

I think they're unisex. I own the Fizik Tempo R5
