These chair booties are as useless as I'd expected, at least for our chairs. If your chair leg is not EXACTLY the dimension required, or not completely square, like if they are tapered at all, these don't stand a chance to work. They were like wearing Crocs, they just moved around the chair leg until they sort of slipped off. Did I need the next size smaller? I measured a few times and was afraid the smaller ones wouldn't slip on. But even if they would have worked, they were as ugly as they looked in the picture, if you care what your kitchen looks like. I'm not even trying to return them; I knew they probably weren't going to solve the problem and I would never have adjusted to their appearance.

I used these for my kitchen chairs, which are basically rectangular, but they have a small curve at the bottom. Up until now I have been using the felt pads on the bottom, but the felt pads were literally worn thin, and one of the chairs was starting to scratch the hardwood floors. So I decided to buy these, thinking that I would put these on the legs. I measured the legs before I order these items and it seemed like it would be a good fit. It would only be a tiny amount of slack. However, there is a tremendous amount of slack, as each of these have a slit on the side of each wall, I'm assuming to adjust to thicker legs. And it makes them very loose.Since I installed them one week ago, all I do is get down on my hands and knees at least twice a day, to pick up the loose chair leg covers, and put them back onto the chair leg. And God forbid anyone will try lift the actual chair, the covers will just completely fall off. It is that loose.I'm not able to return these, due to the return policy. So I'm stuck with them. They also don't fit my dining room chairs snugly, so I really have no use for them. I'll just put them in the shoe box, and wait for sometime in the future. But considering that I've had my kitchen set and my dining room set for about 18 years, I'm not sure how long I would really have to wait.

I was hesitant to try these out because it has been a nightmare keeping up with the sticky felt sliders on our dining room bar stools - constantly falling off, sticky stuff getting on the hardwood floors, etc. I decided to take a chance and am SO happy I did. They aren't the best looking thing but I'll use these over felt anytime from now on! Ditch the felt sliders and buy these instead.

We installed luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout the house, and I wanted some nice felt pads on all my chairs to prevent scratching the planks. Pro: They fit the chairs well. Con: They absolutely do not slide over the planks. I have to lift the chair beneath me in order to move it against/away from the table. I'm disappointed, but they're all getting removed and I'll have to try something else. For ceramic tile, they're great. For vinyl planks, they're awful.

My wooden chairs sit on a wooden floor. These protectors are the perfect thing to prevent scratches on my floor. Plus, the felt padding on the bottom means the chairs slide quietly across the floor. The only slight problem is that sometimes when you pick up the chair the protectors will fall off. But, overall, I am very satisfied and would order these again if needed.

These fit great on my chair legs (I measured and got a size just ever so _slightly_ larger than the legs). They stay put, they don't look obtrusive, and the chairs slide perfectly.Note: I bought the square ones for square chair legs.

I love these! They are inconspicuous, sturdy, and effective! My chairs no longer mark the floors at all! The only thing that I would change on them at all is to perhaps put a little sticky surface on the insides of them to help them to stay more firmly on when the chairs are being carried from one place to another. I just rolled a little piece of masking tape in the bottom of each little cup to achieve that purpose since we pick the chairs up and move them from room to room for use once a week or so. But these little cups are well worth their money!

I used this on my kitchen chairs to protect my floors from scratches. The arrived very quickly. Make sure you measure accurately because the bottom of the front of my chairs was different than the bottom of the back. They allow the chairs to slide in and out from under the table easily without any scratches. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I was hoping for something a little less noticeable but way better then stick on felt for the bottom because the dog hair would not vacuum with these vacuuming is easy (thought more like a silicone type)
