I actually feel sorry for this little fishy. The cats growl and fight for it. Once the winner gets the fish, he goes mad crazy on it. I'm sure the catnip plays a part but the enjoyment my cats get from kicking the crap out of this fish is wonderful and so much fun for me to watch. No more bored cats. It's all envy now. I'm going to have to order more fish. So far this one has held up under a tremendous amount of abuse. Made well. Good size too. Well worth the money.Note: My cats do not have claws but their teeth are as sharp as ever and they do their fair share of destroying items around the house. I'll let you know if they shred this fish.Update: It's been a few weeks now and this fish is still in good shape. That makes me happy as I spend a fair amount of time picking up stuffing from not so well made stuffed cat toys. They continue to search for the fish throughout the house and once found will sometimes sit over it meowing at the top of their lungs as if they want me to come see their kill. I'm not sure why they do this as it alerts the other cats as to it's whereabouts. Sometimes causing yet another scuffle over the fish. I still recommend this fish and have ordered more. The cats recommend this fish too. They told me. ;^)

My two cats went crazy with their fishes when the toys were first taken out of the plastic wrap. Shortly after, they ignored both of the fish despite my attempting to engage with them. I noticed very little catnip smell, so I unzipped both fish to find tiny pouches of catnip. I removed the pouches and some of the stuffing and filled the fish with organic catnip. The cats started playing with them again. Now they enjoy the fish--attacking them and then sleeping on them. The material is sturdy and doesn't show any wear and tear.

This is the silliest thing I have purchased for my cats. They LOVE it, and watching them with it is a riot. It is very real looking and the size is perfect for any cat. It is very soft and durable. The only problem is the first time I ran into it in the morning I thought it was a real fish, and wondered how it had gotten into the house. Yes, it is very real looking. I purchased Cat Crack to put inside it. Cat Crack is catnip on steroids so you can imagine the fun they are having with it now. Great product, with a lot of smiles.

This picture is from less then 2 minutes of it being out of the box. She sniffed it for awhile and then set to biting, kicking and rubbing it on her face. We've left them in the main area and they aren't a big hit during the day but when one is feeling frisky they will tussle with it for a bit. My laziest and oldest cat has NO interest in such toys. But my other 2 do, especially the youngest. Cute size for most cats.

I made the mistake of getting only one, not knowing if they would play with it because it's a stuffed animal and I have never given them large stuffed toys and we all know how picky cats can be with their toys. I recently just went and bought two more because I literally had all three of them fighting over this thing, I am pretty sure it had to do with the cat mint in it, however they have toys with cat mint in the them and they don't react like this, so this must be some really potent stuff. I highly recommend this toy they play with it constantly.

This is a charming toy that really looks like a sardine, according to my husband! It wasn't too popular with our 9,10 week old kitten but now at 16-17 weeks she can really get into tackling and kicking it. It shows no signs of wear and is well appreciated.

I got 2 of these one for my daughters big Ragdoll cat and one for my two cats my daughters cat tore the zipper open on the first day but she’s a handful my other kitties never did I just pull the zipper out and sew that one shut

Both of my cats love this fish. Unfortunately the zipper that allows you to put catnip into the fish broke within the first hour. The zipper just opens up into the stuffing. When you try to put the cat nip in, the stuffing pops out. It was tricky to get to reclosed and and the zipper busted within an hour of use. Then I had stuffing all over. I will have to sew it up which means I'll lose the ability to put cat nip in it. Again, the cats love the toy but the quality it poor.
