This is the type of razor I learned to shave with, and I'm very fond of this style. This one is a good weight and does a nice job of giving a good, close shave. It's obviously not a new-fangled, 5-blad, gel coated, overpriced cartridge style razor, but I like the simplicity of this one. You do have to be more careful to avoid nicks than with the cartridge style, but it's less prone to nicking than the cheap disposable ones. I have not used all the blades that come with this set, but I have found in the past that these double-edged blades can be a bit tough to find in stores. Nevertheless, if you like the simplicity of this style, or if you just want it for the nostalgia value, this is a great set.

In the 1960s, when my husband began to get whiskers, his father gave him a shaving lesson. He also gave my husband an Art-Deco-looking razor that he himself had used for many years. My husband cherished that razor for decades. He scorned the disposable plastic-handled razors I use on my legs--until he became unable to find old-fashioned, double-edged razor blades anywhere. He kept the rusty Art Deco razor until it disappeared during a move a couple of years ago. When I saw an identical razor on Vine, I chose it for him. He likes it. He says it's nice and heavy, good quality, it has a shiny chrome finish, it has a nice case. And it comes with three little boxes of razor blades so that issue will not arise again for awhile. My husband did admit that it does not give as close a shave as a multi-blade plastic razor.

I ended up giving this razor to my brother, but not before checking it out thoroughly for myself (and debating whether or not to keep it). The way that the sides of the razor bloom open as you twist the base, to insert the blade, is very clever, and adds to the overall elegance of a very effective razor. It feels good in the hand, and my brother finds the shave to be as close as the best razors he's used over time. There are plenty of blades included here, so you'll get everything that you need to keep you in a close shave for many months to come. Honestly, with the elegance of the presentation, this would make a very nice gift or stocking stuffer!

It is back to basics. This is how I saw my father used to shave 30 years ago. I love how close the cut using traditional blades. This is coming from a person who has been using rechargeable shavers for years.The disposable plastics have taken over but now we know how bad it is to our overcrowded landfills. Now, it is not only better for the environment, it is also one of the most economical ways to shave. You just buy the blades and they are much cheaper.The shaver is gorgeous, it is shiny and comes with its own travel case. You can store additional blades in the case.

I ordered this shave kit not so much because of the advertised precision with which it shaves the skin but because of the convenient carry on/travel container. Shave kit comes with 30 cartridges and he travel container Is made out of plastic, sturdy material. It closes up well and can be used on the go or when traveling. Definitely a better product that disposable razors. I wish it come with the brush for men who like to lather their skin the old fashioned way. It would make a really nice present,. but I suggest one puts a lot of effort in wrapping it up since packaging is not too appealing.

This is a sturdy razor that comes with a nice travel case. It also comes with 30 edge blades, but those are of poor quality. Both my husband and father-in-law tried them and they said the blades were dull and didn't provide a close shave. They both had cuts from the blade. We are going to purchase Gillette blades to see how well it works.

Una vez que lo adquieres te olvidas por siempre de los rastrillos desechables. Este pack es perfecto pues, además de darte el rastrillo de muy buena calidad en materiales y acabados, te da navajas para usar por años. El rastrillo es un poco complicado de usar en un principio, pero ya que te acostumbras supera por mucho a un desechable; corte extremadamente preciso, rasurada suave, fácil de lavar y con una cajita de viaje muy práctica. Las navajas no pierden su filo en meses, entonces no necesitarás comprar más en un buen tiempo. Muy recomendable.

El rastrillo se siente de buena calidad, es un poco pesado, viene en su estuche y con respecto a las navajas que trae ya se verá después que tan buenas son. Después de unos meses de ocupar las navajas, realmente son malas, solo duran como 5 rasuradas y empieza la batalla para cortar la barba, un desperdicio de navajas.

Es para un regalo y les encanto, se ve de buena calidad tanto la maquina como las navajas. Ademas trae un estuchito metalico muy padre para viaje o simplemente para guardarlo.

Fue un regalo para mi hermano el cual tiene una barba abundante, no es de una calidad premium pero si buscas dejar de usar rastrillos desechables cada semana esta es una opción bastante económica y bonita .

Tenía "miedo" de que fuera muy complicado rasurarse con este rastrillo, pero fue muy similar a las de cabeza intercambiable, es cuestión de acostumbrarse un poco pero funciona sin problemas y es muy sencillo cambiar la navaja.

Es excelente corta al ras muy buen producto ademas viene con su caja para viajes

Excelente producto, lo compre con algo de temor ya que en otros comentarios de otras marcas mencionaban que irritaban mucho o que podías cortarte fácil, sin embargo creo que fue muy buena compra se siente de muy buena calidad y considero tiene buen tamaño, el estuche de plástico que trae lo hace fácil de llevar y con las 30 navajas te olvidas de comprar por un muy buen rato

Es bonita, y tiene buena composición. Al usarla pienso que hay que cuidar cómo se angula para que el filo no lastime, pero una vez que lo "sientes" y puedes usarla de esa forma, funciona bien.
