Awesome books for young gymnast.
These are great books for your young gymnast. The author uses technical terms that your daughter will know and recognize. We have the first 3 and are looking forward to purchasing the next 2 plus the goal setting journal. If you are looking for a great series that your daughter and you will both enjoy look no further!

Great series with some errors
We have really enjoyed the stories in this series, and appreciate the friendships and characters she has created. These are more everyday stories, rather than focusing on Olympic hopefuls. The conflict is minimal, and the coaches are supportive, which paints things as a little rosy compared to real life.My issue with this series is the number of typos in the books. As we read them together, I have had to correct a sentence or the grammar in a section in order to make sure my daughter is hearing the correct language and grammar. They are self published, which I understand, but I hope that if she continues writing this series, a proofreader is consulted prior to publication. I have found issues in each of the books, and as a professional proofreader, I can’t help but find these distracting and unprofessional. We are excited for the series to continue, and anxiously await the next in the series.

9yo gymnast who doesn't really like reading LOVES this series
This is the first book series my 9 year old has fallen for. We've bought the entire series and wishing there were more! As a young gymnast (working to master her last few combinations to make the local gymanstics team), she can relate to the challenges each of the characters face: comparing your skills to those of your friends, frustration as you try to master a skill, seeing other parents more/less involved than your own family, social dynamics within the gym, etc. Each book focuses on a different girl in the gym, and she's enjoyed learning about each of them. The chapter length means we can read 1-2 chapters each night. The little action drawings of a particular skill at the beginning of each chapter are a fun detail.

My granddaughter and I loved this book.
Great book gift for a budding gymnast. Trista, who is 8, moves to a new town and joins a gymnastic club. The friends she makes and the skills she learns kept my granddaughter and I reading to the end--and eager for another book about Trista.

So encouraging!!!
I bought this for my eight-year-old granddaughter who is a gymnast. She absolutely loved the book and wanted the second in the series! I also bought the third and anxious to hear when the fourth one will be published. Great job to encourage a young reader, As well as a gymnast!
