Everyday Candy & Deep Fry Thermometer

Love it!

This thermometer is essential for achieving perfect candy stages and deep-fry temperatures, offering clear markings and a secure clip for hands-free monitoring. Be careful, however, as the glass can be fragile if not handled gently during cleaning.

I’ve use this thermometer 3 times for candy apples. So far, it has worked great. I like how the clip is angled, making it easier to loosen from the pot. The protective storage tube is a plus!

This thermometer works but the red plastic clip came apart after my 2nd use. Not the end of the world so I merely SuperGlued it back together. For the price, and can't complain that much.

When it fogs up, it's hard to read but I can move it around, it does get condensation inside, the top does come off to air it afterwards, It's about 1-2 degrees low but no that serious, I also live above 4500', so boiling points a little less so it could really be dead on and I'm just not reading those lines perfectly, still perfect for my needs.

I expected it to be smaller but I’ve never a candy thermometer so what do I know. It’s about 8”. And it works! I was making toffee for my second time ever (first time was an epic fail and is what caused me to buy this) and it was night and day difference! I will say because it was so large I couldn’t clip it onto my pan because then it would touch the bottom which it shouldn’t do. I had to manually hold it with the hand I wasn’t stirring with and keep it just off the bottom. Perfect toffee! It has marks on it saying “soft crack” and “hard crack” so even if your recipe didn’t say to take it off the heat at 305°, you would know because it’s right on the thermometer! Highly recommend!

This is the 2nd candy thermometer I have bought, same brand and all. Apparently if you drop it on to the floor it breaks!? Anyways my bad. I like to make caramel sauce and started dabbling in some hard candies. I like how it comes with an easy to use clip that clips to the side of the pot, you can also twist the thermometer to where you can see the degrees, my stove has a slant to it so everything kinda leans forward so I clip it to the side of the pan closer to the deeper end of the pot and then twist it to where I can read the degrees. My only complaint is that it fogs up and so I end up having to wipe the glass frequently in order to see what temp it's at. Other than that, which can be a bit annoying especially if you have to work fast once it reaches a certain temp. Oh and it is in Farenhite and Celsius.

This candy thermometer arrived brand new. The pre-printed temps on the inside of the glass are highly incorrect. I ruined my batch of candy due to this severe manufacturer defect. I would NOT RECOMMEND this item.

I really like that the different temps and stages re printed on the themometre and on the portector case....the case fits securely on the themometer too you are able to adjust how much of the temometer goes into the pot...perfect so you can use more shallow pots and this prevents the themometer from touching the bottom of the pot.

Very precise and lovely cover. All is good. Only problem is that the clamp cover is made of plastic that doesnt withstand the heat and thus both of my thermometers have melted from that end but still operating imperfect condition

Excellent Product! Must buy! Not at all expensive, super accurate, reads the temperature within 2-3 seconds!

Works great even for frying like eggrolls etc. Happy I bought it. Great help when cooking.
