1/4" Wire Center ......
Great quality rope. The wire center makes all the difference. I put it on my new 25' flagpole that has an 4X6 Old Glory standing tall & waving proudly.

Wire core definitely need wire cutters
Tough cord for sure will see how it stands up to the wind . This picture is isn’t the rope but is connected to it 🤔. Old rope is about 2 years along with the hook. Definitely need wire cutters to cut the rope.

Will report in the spring
We have not used the rope yet. Will install on flagpoles this spring when the weather warms up. Looks like rope is as advertised.

Tough rope!
Finally! A lanyard rope that will probably last more than six months. You need wire cutters or a bolt cutter to cut this rope. The only slight drawback is that it is a bit stiffer than ordinary, non-wired, rope - so not as flexible - but works well as a flag lanyard.

Worked for my flag pole
I originally purchased the 5/16" rope, but it cam in too thick. I so tried the 1/4" and it replaced the original lanyard perfectly. With the cable in the middle, this rope is a little more difficult to knot and attach the snap hooks, but it ended up working pretty well. Only time will tell if this is any more durbale that the opriginal lanyard, but is does look much more heavy duty.

Quality rope
A must for flag pole if you want a rope that will last.

A bit stiff, but very durable
Durable, hasn't broken yet. I have a 30-foot flagpole, very heavy. If the rope breaks, it's very difficult to replace it. Only issue is that the rope is very stiff, hard to knot, but I'd rather that if it saves me from having to climb a flagpole.

High quality,
Happy with the quality of this rope. Came quickly. I got the 1/4" for my 20' pole flying a 3x5 flag. It seems very strong with absolutely no stretch. A little difficult to tie the ends together because of the wire core. The 5/16 would have easily fit, but I think the 1/4" will be fine for a 3x5 flag.
