FRIENDLY SOAP Lavender Geranium Natural Shampoo Bar, 95 GR

A trend I noticed with a lot of the bad reviews was that they used the shampoo bar for one day and decided they didn’t like it. That’s not how this bar works!! You have to commit. The instructions specifically tell you that there’s a transition period with your hair and you have to use it for a while to get the desired results. I have fine, straight hair; I’ve been using this bar every other day for about 3 weeks. It did feel waxy and heavy at first, but it didn’t look bad. Now that it’s transitioned it’s soft, smooth, and has tons of volume. And the bar doesn’t look like it’s decreased in size at all! Remember that the harder your water, the longer it will take your hair to transition. Great purchase, eco-friendly, smells great, lasts forever!

This is my first experience with a shampoo bar. This smells nice, but I tend to smell my conditioner more afterward. It lathers REALLY well, and leaves my hair shiny. No residue and no added weight to my hair. Seems to be lasting a very long time, too. I don’t think I’ll switch back to normal shampoo. I’m trying to cut back on plastic use, and this came in a simple recyclable box. No plastic involved.

Update: after several weeks of atempting to use this bar I had to come back to update because my hair has felt waxy and gross since using it. I seriously want to reduce my plastic use but this experience has completely put me off using shampoo bars. I have fine, straight hair and when I got to dry it, it still feels wet and greasy to the touch. Everyone said there would be a transition but my previous shampoo was sulfate and petroleum free and I still have had issues using a bar. It doesn’t lather properly, and I’ve also tried using apple cider vinegar as a rinse (both before and after trying to wash with this). I am incredibly disappointed and will be going back to my bottled shampoo because I can’t keep looking like this! I’m all for eco friendly but I can’t look like I never bathe! First review: I loved that it came in all recyclable packaging. I prefer to buy local when I can, to reduce environmental impact of my purchases, but no one here makes a decent shampoo bar. After searching for an affordable, not-plastic wrapped quality soap bar for far too long, I found it! I love it and will buy again.

I tried this shampoo for over a month. It was my first shampoo bar. My hair got clean and it seemed to give it body but it felt as if it left a residue. If I had to compare it I’d say it felt similar to when I use an inexpensive store brand shampoo in a pinch. It was tolerable but I won’t be continuing to use it.

Out of the box, the shampoo bar smells really nice, not too flowery or masculine. It just came in a paper box, no plastic and I appreciated that the box had the pH level written on there as well. Lathered well and it only took a couple of passes to get enough to wash my long hair. It does feel waxy and dry when rinsed and I still use an organic conditioner or apple cider vinegar rinse. When dry, it looks clean but still feels a bit waxy but I noticed that my hair seemed fuller but wasn't as shiny or soft compared to my previous shampoo (trader joe's tea tree and peppermint shampoo). On the second day, my hair wasn't nearly as oily as it normally is when I go a day without washing it and for that, I am grateful. I was skeptical it would be equivalent to 3 bottles, but even it doesn't I'm ok with that.

I've tried shampoo bars from several different artisans. This one is the best I've found so far. It lathers up easily and the scent is quite mild. My hair is not overly dry after using and I think the castor oil is a very helpful ingredient. Scalp also not dry. It seems a bit pricey but it also appears to last a bit longer than other bars I've tried. Just don't get carried away with the lather!

It smells great and lathers up pretty well, but it does not rinse out of my hair well at all. Left my hair feeling waxy.

This is the first shampoo bar I've ever used and I loved it. It made my hair feel light and clean. I've been using more natural products for two years now and wanted to reduce my plastic use. I believe this product is going to be a great way to do that. It smells nice, not overpowering in any way, and really lathers up. I rubbed it about 3 times on my hair (which is pretty long) not knowing what to expect and it really made a lot of suds. My husband tried it and liked it too.

Ich habe länger gesucht und nach vielen vergeblichen Versuchen diese Shampoo Bar für meine Haare gefunden. Sie schäumt schön und ist für meine Locken gut geeignet. Man darf allerdings nicht vergessen, eine SAURE RINSE nach dem Waschen der Haare zu machen, vor allem wenn man kalthaltiges Wasser zuhause hat. Es kann sonst Kalkseife auf dem Kopf entstehen und das ist keine schöne Sache. (Ich mache die mit etwas Apfelessig und Wasser. Die Mischung gebe ich in eine alte Shampooflasche und schütte sie mir nach dem Haarewaschen einfach über die Haare. Am Ende noch eiskalt abspülen, damit alles schön glänzt, Fertig :o)) Es empfiehlt sich allerdings, zusätzlich zur Seife ab und zu eine Spülung für die Haare zu machen oder etwas Öl in die Haarspitzen zu geben. Sie werden sonst leicht trocken.

Te deja el cabello súper limpio y es amigable con el medio ambiente. Una vez te acostumbras a esto, si vuelves a usar shampoos comerciales sentirás el pelo como muerto de tanto químico.

I know it’s described as a shampoo bar but I use this to wash my face and it’s absolutely gorgeous, it’s creamy and leaves my skin glowing, cleansed and nourished. My daughter was suffering with reactions from cleansers and moisturisers so I told her to try this instead, after just 3 days her skin was clear of irritation. I can’t recommend it highly enough and it’s smells good too.

Le mélange de lavande et de géranium donne bien le merveilleux parfum que j'espérais. Le concept du shampoing solide est tout à fait pratique. J'ai un problème avec le rinçage qui laisse mes cheveux collants et je suis obligée de procéder à un shampoing supplémentaire différent.

Ha dejado él pelo cómo si fuese llena de cera y imposible a peinar. Huele bien y a lo mejor funciona bien como jabón, pero he probado varios champús sólidos pero es él primero que ha dejado él pelo más sucio.
