Sony PlayStation 4 500GB Console (Renewed)

I'm always a bit nervous buying used electronics but this has impressed me. Box arrived perfect and the console was visually perfect. No scuffs or flaws. Came with everything stated. Fired it up and ran a stress test loading up a physical copy of RDR2. No issues with the disc reader. Then took it for several Fortnite runs. Fan is quiet when it kicks on. No overheating. Its been a few months and still running excellent.

Looks great, works great, and I saved money on this reconditioned unit. Highly recommend.

gave it 2 stars because the console and accessories are clean and appear to be in excellent condition like it describes. the controller even comes with the little plastic protective peel-off film on the touchpad. the issue is, even though it looks like it is in excellent condition, it does not operate like it is. the first issue i noticed was with the controller. the right trigger button is so sensitive, all it takes it a little shake of the controller and it activates. you cannot rest your finger on it without activating it. contacted seller, and they sent a replacement to try before sending the original back. the replacement would not charge, and the controller battery status on the playstation was showing a question mark. it acts like the battery isn't even there. how does this happen when everything is supposed to be checked? seller offered to send yet another replacement, or give me a partial refund. they are trying to make it right, but if they dont give me enough of a refund to purchase another controller, i will be stuck trying another one from them. the second issue is, i noticed a random screen flash while playing. i changed the HDMI cable to one that i had, and it didn't help. i noticed it would flash more when plugging the cable into the system. wiggling the port on the system made it worse, so the port is loose. probably has a bad solder point. i had to position the console in a way to support the cable in the back of the console instead of letting it hang behind the dresser where it is sitting. seller offered to take the console back for repair or replacement. im sure this process will take quite a while, so i am letting my son get a little playing time on it first since it was a xmas gift for him. the seller has been very accommodating, and responds quick to messages, but its just disappointing to have these kinds of issues with a console that is rated as "excellent". this rating should describe how it functions, not just how it looks Updating to 1 star. Still dealing with this. Got a replacement console and controller from seller. Controller is greasy and has food on it. Console would not read any disc I put in it. In order to get it to read the disc, I had to turn the console on its side. So the eye is getting stuck. Honestly, are these even really refurbished? Because how do you say it is refurbished in excellent condition if you don’t even put a disc in it to make sure it works. sending back for a refund and taking my business elsewhere

Maaaaaan! I definitely love my PS3 and glad Amazon had the availability but I'm really here to brag on the insurance!! Any electronics that you purchase through AMAZON, absolutely spend that extra money for the insurance!! Ok, so I got the system for myself for Xmas in 2021 and me and baby daddy went hard and played it a ton in 2022 til I kicked him out in March 2023. That last like 5 weeks was rough because the system had quit working and we didn't have anything else to connect with, yadda yadda. I had completely forgot that I had insurance til a couple weeks later (lol of course I was lying down to sleep and popped up to tear my house up looking for the hard copy of the policy) When I called to file the claim, from the time they picked up the phone until they sent the survey afterwards, they were amazing! I've been working customer service for 25 years and they as a team are what I teach my trainees. They got my system fixed and were ON IT when a VERY minor situation came up. I bought something from 2 other chains and had to file a claim on both items and it was the WORST experience! Plus Asurion or whatever completely took care of shipping which brightened my day and made one of the other's mad (hopefully) when I wouldn't shut up about them making me pay to get it to them.

great item, works fine. lightning shipping! still had the all the previous owners information in it and was still logged in tho… and as this is my first console coming back since 2009, it was quite a learning curve trying to figure out how to wipe it. luckily it found a home with someone who wasn’t trying to mess with someone else’s info, i have been the target of having false charges to my bank and scams before and it’s not a great feeling. one star taken away for not taking the time to wipe systems before sale, as that should go without saying.

En cuestion de estetica esta muy bien lo que no me coincide es el almacenamiento yo pedi el de 1 tera y ya que lo conecto y verifico trae menos de 500 gb

Todo bien con el envío, llego rápido Puntos a mejorar, consola sucia o con mala estética, control genérico y cables genéricos Pero en general bien

Para el precio que lo cinore esperaba algo mejor ,no vale la pena
