I only just received my case yesterday, so I can't talk about longevity. What I can talk about is the apparent sturdiness and comfort of it.It seems very will made, and form-fitting to my Samsung tab 8. For the month or so I had the tab before getting this case, and even with my big hands, I was always worried about dropping it, was always accidentally hitting the power button, and it felt clumsy when holding to watch movies or whatever else I was doing.Now, with this case, the tablet is much more comfortable to hold, and the case is sturdy while in the stand-up landscape position. Now I can place it on the table in front of me, instead of holding in my hands to see.I also appreciate the auto-sleep support when the case is closed. Nice not to have to hit the power button (even on purpose) to sleep it.The only negative so far is a small one. And that is the lack of stand up support in portrait mode. But it's really not a big deal, as the tablet is plenty comfortable to use in landscape.

I previously purchased the Belkin case designated specifically for the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0, and was very disappointed. The fit was terrible, barely retaining the tablet, and the case was poorly made and overpriced. I then decided to replace it with the Snugg case, and I have been very pleased with the fit and construction. This case is very durable, and well designed, with precise openings to access all the buttons, and the camera cutout is in the correct location (not in the middle, as in the Belkin case). Bottom line: for less money than the Belkin case, I have a case that promises to last a long time, while providing maximum protection for my tablet. My only minus is that the opening of the case fails to wake up the tablet (a feature of small concern for me). I would highly recommend this case from Snugg.

This case offers some protection to your tablet, and sets good at a the low angle position, on a table or desk. I don't like the higher angle, and would not use it that way, but you may like the higher angle for a video chat, but the more upright angle is not as stable. The tablet sleeps when you close the cover. That is desirable, but if I want the tablet to sleep, I usually push the button, to know it will stay asleep. Anyway, it sleeps by closing, and that can be handy too. The leather quality is good, but the fit was not quite right on one side. I decided it was good enough, and did not send it back.I recommend a case to protect your tablet, and the tablet is easier to hold onto with this case, while you are using it. I was glad to find this 8" tablet case on amazon, as 8" cases are scarce in stores. I would probably recommend this brand, but don't expect perfection. Oh, one more item: This case has small magnets inside that hold the coverclosed, without any tab, a nice additional touch....allstar

I chose the Snug Galaxy Tab Case because I liked the Tab to be secure. Unlike the other cases where you have to take the Tab out of the case. Plus, I like the fact it has a slot for the Stylis. Only negative is, the area where you put the Stylis can be more secure since it's outside of the case... But there is a clip on the Stylis where you can slide it right through. Make sure you do this otherwise the Stylus will fall out of the slot. Leather is also a great quality!...Would recommend this case!

Nice quality and great protection. I bought this in black for a 8" Galaxy Tab 3, and the fit is perfect. It's a nice, clean, professional look. Unlike some other reviews; all the ports are usable, including the power, and it recharges with the tablet turned off and closed. I feel the tablet is protected well in event of a fall, because the edges of the case overlap just enough to take the brunt of the fall. The tablet is held very securely, with no possibility of popping out or plastic pieces to crack/break. I'm very happy with it.

I wanted to like this product, especially because it was designed and crafted with quality. However, my N5110 did not fit in the case. I did not see anything in the description stating that this model of the Galaxy Note 8.0 would not be compatible. The camera, volume, and power holes were in the wrong place. Also, my tablet did not fit in the case. I'm not sure how this was possible since the case was designed for an 8" tablet.

If you buy this item for the lifetime warranty then you better look else where. I purchased one in 2013 for a Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 just because of the lifetime warranty. I could have bought a different one for less than 1/2 the price. It has had normal use. It literally fell apart (see attached pics). I contacted Snugg for a replacement. It was not covered under their lifetime warranty. They told me it basically only covers defects. And you also have to register it for the lifetime warranty which I never say that anywhere in their description. So, if you are buying this for the lifetime warranty I suggest you buy a cheaper one and save your money.

We got our first tablet, a Samsung 8. The Snugg case has every thing needed. My husband stands it up to watch his Netflix, the kids can lay it down to play a game and the hole in the case is great for picture taking without the stress of taking the case off. The best part of having this case is that the whole tablet can be shut down when you close the case. That's the easiest and fastest clean up, close down we have ever had. Yeah! I completely new experience.

Great sound

I have had this case for around 2-3 years now, and it has stood up very well. There is some wear at the joints and places which bend/fold (see picture), and some of the edges are worn. This wear and tear is nothing beyond regular use however, and I use the tablet daily and have brought it with me traveling many times.Features: magnets in the flap to hold it shut, multiple positions to prop the tablet up. I've never used the holder for the stylus because I don't use one, so I can't comment on its functionality. I highly recommend this case, it was well worth it, and I estimate I'll not need to replace it until I decide to replace my tablet itself. Speaking of which, this case has prevented me from having to replace my tablet after the inevitable fall or two from the table/chair. If you need a case for your Samsung tablet, look no further.
