Not just high protein snacks but high protein desserts!
All I have to say is Protein Desserts? This is definitely the first time I have come across a protein diet recipe book that has such a large number of desserts that have protein (high protein no less) .This book, High Protein Diet: High Protein Everyday Meals for Metabolism Boost and Weight Loss is a great high protein low carb recipe book. I mainly bought it for the healthy desserts section but all the recipes look awesome. So whether you are looking for high protein breakfast or high protein snacks you can find recipes that will give your daily high protein foods.

This is not a diet book, it is an amateurish collection of recipes.
I just received the book, have looked through it, but haven't tried a recipe yet.It is obviously a self-produced "vanity press" issue. There is no author listed, no editor, no publication info at all other than the year 2014. There are no page numbers, so to use the table of contents you have to flip through the book until you find the recipe you want. There is no index, and none of the recipes include nutritional information. There are 2 1/2 pages devoted to why a high protein diet is recommended and foods to avoid, but there are no citations to back up the statements. It appears to me that this is a compilation of recipes that someone found online or in other books, and put them together without attributing the original sources. On the bright side, the recipes I looked at sound very good. A couple reviewers mentioned that some ingredients are obscure or hard to get. That probably isn't really true unless you are in a rural area, as most supermarkets have a section for "health foods," and even discount stores carry brands like Bob's Red Mill, which has a variety of different flours, grains and beans. The only ingredient I'd have to look for is cocoa butter, but that can be substituted with coconut cream. The biggest reason I'm giving this only three stars is that the second recipe I looked at (Almond Crust Chicken Pie) is incomplete. It has steps for making the pie crust, and has the first two steps for the filling: pre-cooking the chicken and making the roux, but then it comes to a complete stop. Nothing about the veggies, assembling the pie, forming the top crust, or baking instructions. That was only the second one I looked at. How can I trust the other recipes?I was inclined to give this book two stars but gave it three because I tend to change up recipes anyway, so I'll still use these as a base and probably tweak them as I go. Experimentation isn't advised for baking, so I'll search online for similar dessert /baking recipes before I trust the ones in this book.To me, it isn't worth the $12.99 Prime cost. I'm very glad I bought it from an Amazon Seller and paid only 53 cents.

I love that it warns against protein bars because of the ...
My teen son is wanting to start eating high protein to build muscle mass. I, as his mother, want him to do it in a healthy way so I got this book for healthy high protein recipes. I love that it warns against protein bars because of the sugar as well as offers healthy recipes so he is eating a high protein diet with some variety as well as in a healthy way. We have both decided, the first thing on the menu will be the Macadamia Crusted Ahi Tuna!

Self-Published Recipe Collection With No Author
No author? No page numbers. No pictures. Some recipes have incomplete instructions. No nutritional information or any other means of knowing how much protein any of the recipes contain; some look more "low carb" or just use alternatives to wheat flour. Simply being low-carb or gluten free doesn't mean a recipe is "high protein." Overall, misrepresented and not what I thought I was buying. Guess that's what I get for judging a book by its cover.

Protien Recipe Book with No Nutritional Information about the Recipes...
This is not a high protein diet book! It is a recipe book. The recipes have NO nutrition information, calories, fat, or even protein amount. There are a few unique recipes so I will be very generous and give it 2 stars, but this is not a quality book...

Great recipes for those who follow a health and fitness plan.
The author categorizes the recipes according to Baking and Dinners so although there aren't many different options for other meals such as breakfast and lunch, it's still a great resource because your body processes proteins and amino acids while you are asleep. The baking section offers great high-protein snacks which would be a perfect compliment for a fitness program that requires "clean-bulking".If you're following a special diet lifestyle or looking for creative ways to add protein to your diet, I would highly recommend this book.
