Vinyl Sealer Aerosol 13oz.

Used to spray another guitar body and wished I had used this on other nitro lacquer spray jobs. It does what I understood it to do. After a couple of base coats of nitro, I sprayed this on top of clear nitro prior to spraying color coats. It made the guitar to appear much smoother and even looking. I don't think you have to use it, but it seems to build up much faster than thinned lacquer and just gave the guitar body a better look. I've sprayed a couple with and a couple without and it's easy to tell which ones got the vinyl sealer. My guess is the non spray can quart size would be even better. I've used a variety of the Behlen products to spray guitar bodies and all were great. Ordering through Mohawk has been a better experience than most I've purchased on. I had an order get lost by fedex and contacted them after trying to track it down. They responded immediately and gave me actual people to call directly. They tracked my order down eventually and got replacement product to me quickly. Great seller.

LOVE this stuff - but do be prepared for the fumes as it's basically lacquer. Lays down with a high degree of solids, smooths well, cures fast, and takes a steel-wooling between coats to get you to a SMOOTH b base coat fast!Attached pic is a "wet coat" after just one application - once this dried I simply hit it with 0000 steel wool, wiped it down with spirits, and sprayed my lacquer.

Used it to prepare a subwoofer box made with MDF before painting it and it worked great!

Best sealer for painting laminate to a gloss. I have tried a couple of other dealer's, this one went on perfect, no runs. Works great. Highly recommend

Works great. An absolute must when finishing a guitar. Easy to apply.

Works great as described, a little goes a long way with this, a few coats with sanding will seal any wood if it’s open grain be sure to grain fill.

This stuff is a must for layering incompatible finishes.
