It’s a nice buy for the price but I was given a lot of stage 1 cards that didn’t come with the basic Pokémon. That makes the stage one card useless in battles. Some of them also seemed to be fake, but since I’m only playing with my roommates, it’s not that much of an issue. Overall 3/5. Definitely will look elsewhere for cards.

The cards we received are many and varied - as advertised 100 energy and 100 Pokemon/trainer cards. There is a mix of basic and stage 1 cards with few duplicates. I haven't had the opportunity to determine if we received any rare cards. It was nicely packaged. As a supplemental set of cards, it's perfect!!But, this isn't a set for brand new players. The online instructions aren't thorough enough for a first time player and the cards are so varied that you can't make two cohesive decks without the inability to play the majority of the Stage 1 cards (as their Basic counter parts aren't in the deck). I ended up purchasing an actual training kit with the game board and a specifically ordered deck in order to teach myself and my daughter how to play. I think to really be able to understand how to do play with two full decks we will have to purchase another themed, cohesive deck, and as we get more experienced, supplement with this deck.

The cards were exactly as described. I even got two extra energy cards. Decent mix of strong and weak regular cards. Only a few duplicates (besides the energy which are necessarily duplicates). Cards came a day earlier than expected, which was a nice surprise. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

I was going to get a lot of 100 Pokemon cards, but then saw this lot of 200 (half of which is energy cards). As I was building two starter decks, I figured it was a good deal. The cards arrived wrapped in clear plastic, separated into several stacks. Also included was a card directing you to videos to learn how to play Pokemon.We received several duplicates, a number of basics, some evolves, and a couple holographic basics as well as one or two GX cards. Overall, I'd get this again if I were making starter decks.

My 11 yr old daughter got into wanting to learn to play the games with some of her friends, so I purchased this set as a starter set for her. She loves it because it came with cards that her friends didn't have so they could start playing and trading together. I figured I would start with this and see if she continued to play and trade before purchasing more cards for her deck.

This was a great set for a great price! My son just got into Pokemon and he was low on cards, so I got him these for his birthday, and he was over the moon. There was only one duplicate, and it was a Charmander, which delighted my son even more. I highly recommend this set, it's large, well priced, and very good quality.

This was exactly as described. All cards were well packaged and protected for shipping. A wide variety of cards were included. I would purchase this again.

These cards made both of grandsons so happy. I divided them up between 2 of them as needed them for stocking stuffers. I know nothing about pokeman but they must have been right with the smiles on their faces. Great product and A=++seller
