Awesome chairs. Not sure you will find better for the price!!
Very solid sturdy seats. Delivered without issue and well packaged with sufficient packing to protect but not the rediculous amount some items come with.Finish is good and the mechanism is firm and solid. While these are not the most comfortable seats in the world for long periods they are solid and secure. Nothing worse than sitting on a flimsy seat and having to brace yourself in the chance it will collapse.

Seat sits at a severe angle, don't let the product picture fool you.
At just under $15 a piece, these chairs seemed like a good value. They have a good "maximum weight" and sturdy construction but they are not that comfortable due to the chair design. It's not easy to tell from the posted picture Amazon listing and there's no mention in the description but the seat of the chair sits at a significant angle. I took a few pictures of this chair (gray) next to a normal beige chair. You can see how much of an angle the gray National Public Seating 50 series sits at compared to a normal folding chair that only has a slight incline.I would honestly return them, but the shipping would cost $40. I think it's utter crap that the product is misrepresented leaving me stuck with either uncomfortable chairs or paying $40 out of pocket to return a bad product. I won't be buying another National Public Seating product again.UPDATE: As you can see in the new pictures, parts of the chairs have broken from normal use and are falling apart/off the chairs. This has occurred on all 8 chairs that I purchased after only a few months. This only reinforces the 1 star rating I gave them.

READY FOR HARD USE
I purchased these for a local non-profit beekeeping organization, to have a set of chairs to take with us when we do local events for people to sit in while they talk with one of our members. On Earth Day I stuck decal tattoos of bees on thousands of people, each of whom sat down in one of these chairs, and I sat in one for 7 hours. I THINK THEY ARE GREAT. They are very sturdy and strong, sharp lines, and the paint looks like it can take a lot of loading and unloading.

Plain, functional, preferred by our guests!
These are great. We usually use them around a IKEA table which has eaves that make up about 89% of the total surface area, and thereby is largely a foldable table in it's own right, and we sometimes put them all away for parties, but mostly just enjoy these chairs' easy ability to switch between just-us-roomates to fifteen-person-board-game-night for the holidays-with-a-tree-and-such-also-whoa-it's-crowded-but-still-comfy.We use them in congress with a set of IKEA foldable chairs, but everyone always chooses these over the IKEA plastic chairs, largely because they're quite narrow and these are rather comfy for people of any size. We're looking to buy another set before the next holiday season.Four instead of five stars because they are largely riveted and glued together, and we've had one completely disintegrate with a loud clang while someone was sitting in it at a party watching a tv show. He was sitting rather still, and is rather light, and we were all extremely surprised by it, most-of-all him. We'll be replacing that one in the next batch. ;)

Cheap steel chairs
For the price they're fine. A couple were scratched but they're only folding chairs to be used for parties etc. I didn't buy them for decorating. They were sturdy and served the purpose.

Great Chairs and Excellent Customer Service
I am quite pleased with the quality of these chairs. We use them daily with a nonprofit and recently we had one break. I immediately called National Public Seating and they didn't hesitate to help and replace it. I will continue to use this company in the future.

Good material but faulty construction.
Seats were slanted upwards.

Great product, great customer service.
Great folding chairs and very economical compared to others. The customer service was great to deal with and took care of my problem promptly and without any hassle. I will definitely do business with them again. Thank you.
