A few other stop-watches advertise they are good for multiple sports. It is a case of "can do a little of everything, and good at nothing". The simplest function that other watches seem to be missing, it the "Lap" function. The frustrating function is when it stops the lap so you can see it, but the "clock" does not keep ticking (visually). Sure, you can hit the "lap" button again, and it does the math, but you cannot see it running. This functions makes running practices so much easier. Especially when running different intervals at the same time for multiple kids/lanes. Recall is a breeze. When timing multiple kids, you do not have time to read off, stop, repeat b/c the kid did not listen, and click the next swimmer. You can go back, and recall all the times in order. Sounds silly, but the buttons have a "click" to them. Many watches are a "soft" click, and you are not sure the button was hit. The tiny "click" of the button is all you need to feel. This is worth the few extra Bucks over less expensive watches.

I coach NCAA division 1 track and have tried out many stopwatches, and this one is what I stick with. This one works as good if not better than the $150 seiko stopwatches on the market. Sturdy build so it wont get smashed in a gym bag. The timing fuction is accurate to the milli seconds. The buttons have a nice press and click to them and dont feel like theyll get stuck like with cheaper options. The beeps are pretty nice. I’ve i only been using the stopwatch function, but Im not sure what other reason youd be buying a stopwatch for anyways.

Great for swim timmer

I thought I would give this stop watch a try. I regret it. In typical finis style, the product is overpriced and shoddy. I opened the stop watch and it was working. By the time I got to practice to use it the screen was off and would not turn back on. Not easy to replace the battery either. Hands down the worst experience I've ever had with a stop watch and I'm a swim coach. You would do better burning the money you would spend on this watch to keep warm rather than buying this thing. I would say it makes a good paper weight, but it's too light for that. Just garbage.

Only thing is you can’t silence the beeps. Kind of annoying for my use with the watches other than that they work amazing

As a swim coach, I have used a ton of different stopwatches over the years. This is by far the best watch that I've ever owned. It's durable, which is good because I tend to drop things when I am coaching on deck. Also there is a new feature on this specific stopwatch model that allows for a coach to take splits in a different mode than I had been used to. During a race, this mode allows the coach to take the split, which starts the new split at "0" so that you don't have to do any math in your head. This is good for me because I am horrible at math and this is great for lazy people like me. This is the only watch I use now.

Was excited to get this stopwatch. Then within weeks the timer button popped off, rendering the stopwatch useless. I wish the quality was higher (and that Finis provided replacement parts). HOWEVER, when i contacted Finis (a few months after the purchase date), they sent me a replacement right away. Great customer service!

Ottimo cronometro; semplice ed intuitivo da utilizzare; può essere usato per qualsiasi tipo di attività sportiva ma ha alcune caratteristiche che lo rendono particolarmente adatto al nuoto (vedi su tutto la funzione che permette in pochi secondi di determinare il numero di bracciate al minuto). A mio parere ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Ich habe diese Stoppuhr seit ca. 3 Jahren im Einsatz als Zeitnehmer bei Schwimmwettkämpfen. Die Uhr arbeitet bisher ohne Probleme mit hoher Zuverlässigkeit. Sie liegt dabei gut in der Hand. Zwei Extras finde ich erwähnenswert, da sie nicht zwingend notwendig, aber praktisch sind: 1. Bei Zwischenzeiten zeigt die Uhr automatisch die Differenz zur letzten Zwischenzeit an: ohne Rechnen lässt sich so die Zeit jedes Schwimmers/Läufers etc. bei Staffeln schnell ablesen. 2. Die Uhr hat eine Memory-Funktion, so dass die letzte gestoppte Zeit erneut aufgerufen werden kann, obwohl bereits "reset" gedrückt wurde.
