I grew up in the Southwest, and red chile has always been a staple in our kitchen. We enjoy the quality of this product. It taste good and is fresh. We like to sprinkle it on breakfast and even make stews out of it. Even though it says medium, I would say it’s probably between low and medium in heat.

As someone who grew up in New Mexico and now lives in New York, I'm always on the search to bring the green chile flavor into my home. I used to fly to Albuquerque with an extra (okay... I still do) suitcase just to bring home different variations of green chile including El Pinto All Natural Green Chile Sauce. I always worried they break in my suitcase. Now I don't have to worry anymore! I'm on a subscription for "hot" chile sauce and these wonderful flavors are brought to my doorstep! The taste is top notch!

While we love the product, our last order was a mess! We ordered two cases (each having 6 jars of the red chile), but we received one case of green chile, and only 5 jars of the red chile in the other box. Clearly, someone made a mistake with our order, and we unfortunately didn't open the boxes until the return time had passed. Again, we are big fans of the product, but the packers/shippers have to be more careful.

Our last delivery was medium instead of hot? Don't know what happened. We didn't realize it until we went to open a jar. Excellent flavor and texture. The hot has a nice kick to it but not too much. We use it on everything from eggs to tacos.

Enchiladas

What I got, Green chile sauce, mild, was watered down tomato sauce, no hint of green chile, mild or otherwise.Probably suitable for someone faint of heart who can not tolerate the smallest hint of heat.Dont waste your money. It is expensive and not worth it. Rotel w green chile compares.
