OsmoDecking Oil New Bog Oak 021 2.5Ltr

We purchased four 2.5 Ltr tins for our decking area to have two coats of Osmo oil. Having applied the first coat and left to dry for approx a week before applying the second coat. The issue we have is that I had mucky shoe soles walked on the deck and now for some reason these footprints cannot be removed. What is worse my wife was happy to go with Ronseal as used before, I chose Osmo oil as i liked the colour, O dear. She has scrubbed the footprints, moped the footprints been on her hands and knees trying to clean the footprints but nothing seems to remove the dirt. This product is not cheap and I certainly would not recommend or use again, can anyone suggest how we get rid of the footprints or is it it a recoat again ?

Initially bought small tin to test on a small project but after we saw the final results we bought more in the larger tin. Goes on very well for first coat. Allow to dry for a day or so and add another coat. We used it on decking and sleeper borders so no need to sand. If using for interior projects or on items that require the ultimate finish then a light sand would suffice between coats.The finished results were amazing. Silky smooth and stunning look.Best staining/ finishing product we have ever used.

Easy to apply and dried exactly as the instructions stated. A month later and the decking looks great and water sits on the surface where it doesn’t run off. Really pleased with it and if it means we don’t need to repaint the decking too soon I would say great value even if it seems expensive initially.

This is by far the best decking oil on the market. I’ve used it for a number of years and whilst it fades over time, it does not chip, crack or blister. Adds a great water proof finish to the decking and water beads on top. It may be expensive but once your decking has had two coats, it last about two years before needing recoating.
