TimexTW7C27400 Weekender 20mm Blush/Graphite Stripe Metallic Fabric Strap

I have had the watch and THIS band for a month now. I purchased the plain black band to replace a horrid plaid band the watch originally possessed. I am not sure if the band is the same as those that come with the watches, but the price, color and fit was perfect! (I don't recall the band of a diff Weekender having this issue.) The double D ring on the band is perfect, as I tuck the extra band length back into the outer ring. Nice and tidy like.The ONLY reason I gave it a three star rating is because at least twice a week - OR when I simply can't stand it anymore I take a lighter/flame to the band to singe the tufts of nylon material that develop at the unused watch band holes. (Yup, I push down the singed material before it cools.) I would normally wear a watch 24/7, but I can't with this band. The tufts that develop rub against everything. I have tried to minimize this 'rubbing' against things by changing the direction of the band through the watch to switch the buckle direction, but to no avail. It may be a minor thing for someone else, but not I. I'm hopeful that one day I won't have to continue singeing the band.

It should really only cost $5 !!! The $16  BRONGER Twill Slip-thru Nylon Watch Strap  is a much better quality single-pass strap with elegant hardware, proper 20mm width, and the standard NATO 1.2mm thicknessThis strap is only a thin and flimsy 1.0mm thickness (maybe even less) and its laser sealed edges are so poorly finished that they easily fray with use. The worst problem is the fact that the 20mm strap is really only 19mm wide! This all means there is not much friction holding the watch case onto the strap and it is easy for the watch to SLIP OFF AND DROP TO THE FLOOR if the strap is held by the buckle!!! This typically will not happen with better quality single-pass straps that are at least 1.2mm thick and have the correct 20mm width.It is NOT a tight stiff weave and the strap will slightly stretch when pulled. This, plus its thinness, makes the strap very flimsy and easily twists. It is so flimsy that a standard dive watch will easily sag on the strap unless the strap is cinched tightly against the wrist like a tourniquet.Pros:The only thing I like is that the strap is a very nice looking twill pattern though the surface feels a bit rough. Also, though the fold-able metal keeper loops are a bit high given how thin the strap is, they are not permanently sticking out and fold down out of the way. These are is the only reasons why I didn't give it a 1-star rating.

Bought this as a replacement strap for a Weekender as the holes in the old strap we wearing out. Hated to spend the extra money but figured I'd go original and buy Timex. While the color is exactly the same (blue with grey stripe) and the width is good, the new one is longer. The extra strap has to be tucked in twice where the old one was right on. I put them side by side and the new one is much longer. Just FYI.

Unfortunately, the new band arrived in its sealed package without a buckle attached. The pin that would have held the buckle was bent in the middle. Obviously, the band had been subjected to some serious force *before* it was put in the sealed package and nobody noticed.Fortunately, I was replacing a worn band on my years old weekender so I was able to remove the buckle from it and place on the new band. Otherwise, this would've been the second defective item I would have returned to Amazon within two weeks.Pic shows the new band with the buckle taken from the old band. I didn't think to take a pic until after I had it switched.

I bought the 20 mm green plaid band as a gift for my husband. While the interior of the band feels as though it would be comfortable, the quality is not what I would have expected from the Timex Weekender label. I don't expect it would last long at all. Most disappointing was the appearance of the band: the produc image appears to be a navy & bright kelly green plaid over beige, and I purchased it for that reason. In reality, the colors were both so dark as to be nearly black, difficult to even distinguish from each other unless under very bright light (see photo, taken under bright light). I would never have purchased it had I seen the true appearance of the band.

The band came promptly. It was easy to install. The hardest part was cutting off the old band.Time will tell how well it holds up.My only complaint is that it should have been longer. It fits a little snug on the last hole.It would be helpful to include the length/ wrist circumference in the description.

This watchband is a good replacement for the one that came with my Timex watch. It is the correct width. It took only a few seconds to install. It is a little bit thinner, but I like the color combination better. I find that it is light, breathes well, and is comfortable to wear. The price is reasonable.

The band is a bit wide for my Weekend Timex but I was able to put it on the watch easily and it works just fine.It is a bit large for my wrist but not so bad that I am unable to wear it. It gives an entirely different look to my watch and having the ability to change watchband easily is a real plus.

Bought this to replace an identical strap from a Timex watch that I'd had for at least four years which had faded a bit with washing. Hard wearing, easy to put on, no tools needed. It's not particularly smart but it's a good everyday strap which is practical, won't break and is hand washable.

Very nice strap that is well made and fits really nice.It's so comfortable I can hardly feel like I'm wearing the watch.Very pleased with this purchase

I bought this as a spare for my Timex watch and it’s a good choice, it does what it says on the tin !

Beautiful strap and colours but not a NATO style as I had assumed. The watch just slides up and down. For nearly £15 I expected more.
