Great slip bobbers.
Lil joe is the best. Takes all night to water log them.

Pretty good
There aren’t a lot of companies that even make these oversized style bobbers. I only know of this one and the ones you get at Walmart, I think those are south bend. These are smaller than those but the coating and overall design seems better and they definitely hold up well. They are however about twice the price of the Walmart ones and this makes it more frustrating if/when you lose one to a snagged tree, rock, or just a damn big fish.

Good but not durable
I am a pike fisherman and I use a slip bobber rig method. I use braided line and within 20 pike or so the bobbers start to get cut into by the braid. But I have yet to find a better bobber for what I do. I think they need to up the quality where the line feeds through and reinforce it or drop the price.

A Word About Weights
First off, I haven't had a chance to use this type of float yet, but, being a dedicated float user for about 40 years it looks to be a good one. I have used, many times, Thill's regular Nite Brite, to great success and feel this one will work just as well, increasing my casting distance over the regular version. The main reason I decided to post this review is to provide weights for the three different sizes. Amazon's listings are kind of vague, size-wise, in the description so be sure to look at the last digit in the item number proper, which will be the length, in inches. Here are the weights of the floats themselves, with battery stick.6-inch: 0.8 oz.8-inch: 1.5 oz.10-inch: 1.9 oz.I have put the 10" in water and it settled, upright, with the black line just below the water level. I don't anticipate it taking much weight to balance these floats properly.Since posting the above review I have found that it takes two No.5 split shots to balance the 8-inch (this float) with enough weight allowance left-over for a lightweight jig.

Very dependable float. My go to.
Always use Little Joe Floaters, never had a problem, they are easy to cast, they trail straight upon retrieval, and offer no resistance when fish take my bait which means more catches. I recommend them to all my fishing friends. Only drawlback is Amazon didn't have the size I normally use, which was 10 to 12 inch.

Best light up pole float I've used.
I've used a bunch of different types of light up bobbers. The LED battery lights in this make it the best. The light that comes with it has been used well over the 20 hour estimated life they claim and it's still bright as new. Replacement lights aren't keep but since they last so long and are super bright it's worth it. With this being a nice tall float with a bright light, you can cast a long way and still clearly see it with no problem. These are a good solid build. I bought a second one for another rod a couple weeks after the first one. Definitely 5 stars and 2 thumbs up from me!

Good product but prone to Gator damage.
These are just what I need for long distant casting. I have to cast about 150' to get over hydrilla to where the fish are. These float will do it with ease. My problem is that curious Gators are attracted to these floats and like to bite them. A few teeth marks and the float starts to sink and becomes useless.I have painted some of them BLACK and they pay the float no attention. I am going to try GREEN on one and see how that works. The BLACK one are easy to see in the daytime but impossible to see at dusk and nite. At $5 a float, the Gators are hurting me financially.
