Compatibility is an Issue
On the recommendation of the tech at Amazon Prime Video, I bought this device to enable me to watch downloaded Amazon Prime Video content on an offline television, as I cannot get cable television in my semi-rural location. However, connecting my Samsung Galaxy S7 to a brand new NAXA television with this device leads to a "No Media" message, so it did not work at all.

Make sure you doble check the compatible list before buying
***Update After my one star review, the campany contacted me and explain that certainly the converter is not compatible with the Samsung S7. They were very helpful and willing to fix the issue. So, I changed the review to 4 star for their excellent customer service. Inicial review: Have to return. Didn't work at all. Probably my fault. Since my phone (samsung galaxy s7) is not on the list of compatible devices. I though it was just not updated, but apparently it really is not for that model. Learn from my mistake, do not buy if you phone is not listed.

Not working
I own an SM-T800, which is listed on the list of compatible devices - when I plug the device in, I get no HDMI signal to my monitor, but I do show power working (my tablet indicates it is charging, so the device is powered). Tried two different monitors, no result on either of them. Most likely will be returning as non-functional.
