My Daily Catholic Bible: NAB: 20-Minute Daily Readings Paperback – 1 July 2011

Something to use for one’s daily prayer time. A good product although the pages are starting to curl. If there is a hard back edition I intend to get that next year. I’ve always wanted to completely read The Bible and this is going to help me do over 12 months.

Nearly finished this book, enjoying each days reading, I found this book at a time I was suffering from anxiety and I feel much better since I started reading this. Highly recommend

Great reference book but you do need a magnifying glads if you have poor eyesight. Otherwise was just what i was looking for!

This is a most useful book. It contains the whole text of the Holy Bible in 365 daily portions, both from the Old Testament and the New Testament. By reading a daily section, one is taken through the whole Bible in one year. An excellent plan! One does not have to start on 1st January, just wherever one is in the year, then just read it daily untl one returns to the place where one started. A useful resource for those who wish to read the Holy Bible and those who practice Lectio Divina.

The book does have daily readings and if you read very fast you can complete the daily reading in 20 minutes, however, it does take nearly an hour if you actually want to think about what you have read. If you are looking for a quick daily read, I am not sure that this is really the ideal book. The aim is to read the Bible in a year and if that is all you want, then it achieves this, but if you are looking to deepening your faith, then this might not be the best option.
