Good Summer Skate Shoe
Always have been a fan of Etnies and other Skate shoes, even though I do not skate. I usually find skate shoes to be comfortable and long lasting.Having had these for just over a week now.Pro:- They are comfortable, so far.- I do like that these are not as "chunky" looking as my previous ones and make my feet more slim looking.- Keeps with the Etnies design style.- Light and not heavy feeling shoes.Con:- Not like some of the previous Etnies shoes which have more padding on the tongue and ankle area. While I believe the padding to be enough for the moment, especially as the weather is nice and warm, I question it's longevity for wearing them day in and day out.- Laces are not very long.Overall I am happy with these Skate Shoes. Hopefully they do me proud like the previous ones I had in the past that have lasted me over 4 years.... Only time will tell if these live up to this.

Etnies sizes are (maybe) small than UK sizes
Pros:- Generally good quality (outer)- Stitches and material doesnt look cheap- Purchased at £16- Very good designCons- Etnies size is too small. I bought UK 5.5 and it felt like UK4.5 as front part was too narrow- Inner sole of right shoe is clearly bigger (see photo) and they tried to unsuccessfully fit it, which ends up ruining it with glue near the logoOverall I like it, but wont be using it because of size. I might try bigger sizes. Etnies Fader Ls, Men's Skateboard Shoes, Black (Black/Grey/Black005), 4 UK (37 EU)

I did like these shoes while they lasted
I did like these shoes while they lasted, but unfortunately that wasn't very long.I bought them in early January and they were on sale for £16.50. I've thrown them out already as they fell apart after just a few months. At their reduced price of £16.50 i'd call it a decent purchase but when they're on a full price for £55 i'd rather spend that on some more long-lasting shoes!

Comfy
These are comfortable, however I got a hole in the sole after about three months. Honeycomb sole meant I got a wet foot whenever it rained.

Look really tidy and comfortable too, the cushioning on the soles is good
Look really tidy and comfortable too, the cushioning on the soles is good, maybe not walk 20 miles good, but good enough for me for day to day use. Padding around the sides and back of the foot is also good, no complaints so far. Like the design, nice and simple and they seem well made, Etnies always seem to last forever.

Look poor quality.
My son didn't even try these on, the description said they were nubuck leather uppers with manmade inners and they were in fact all manmade. They have no padding like previous Etnies and looked cheap. I returned them.

Not very comfortable
I hadn't noticed that these were the 'Ls' variety and that "Modernized version of a long time etnies classic" really means "no padding, no comfort". They're lightweight and work adequately as slippers but they provide little cushioning and standing or walking in them for any significant period is not much fun. Next time I'll go back to the traditional Faders.

Good but...not exactly as pictured
These shoes arrived on time, are comfortable and are true to size. However, one star deducted for not having the red colour on the outer side as pictured on the product page. The shoes were all black, no red outline relief. But we've had them before, for teens and they wore well and lasted.
