Roosebeck Psaltery Nylon Case, Alto

It is very well made. I bought it to protect my zither heaven bowed psaltery I purchased from Amazon. It fit like the case was handmade for it. I am very pleased. Also the case arrived much earlier than was expected. The reason for four stars was the packing. It arrived in a 6" by 6" u.s.p. box. This case is around 22" long and wider than the box and the box was budging at the top. It definitely should have been shipped in a larger box to keep the vinyl case from having so many creases in it. It is a heavy nylon which I like . Other than that I would purchase this item again. Good price for what your getting.

There isn't much padding, more of a quilted lining. But it's a whole lot better than dragging my psaltery around in a cardboard box. If you have a Unicorn Strings psaltery, be sure to buy the ALTO case; the Roosebeck soprano psaltery is much smaller and so is the case.Probably should be five stars because it's the only gig bag in its class that fits the Unicorn Strings psalteries. (Unicorn strings lists one on its web page but it seems to be on permanent backorder.)Four stars because I would like just a little more padding.

I am very pleased with my purchase. The case is light-weight, yet well-padded for my bowed dulcimer which fits perfectly inside this product.

This well made and well-padded case exceeded my expectations. There is plenty of room in the small front pocket for rosin and my tuning instrument. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality at such a reasonable price.

Sturdy case, fits the psaltery well.
