TIME Machines 29mm Elastic Fabric Kids Watch

Great watch for kids!! Seems to be very durable, everything works straight out of the box.

What we love: Easy-to-read dial: The numbers are large and clear, making it simple for kids to learn to tell time. Comfortable elastic strap: The stretchy band fits comfortably on her wrist and is easy for her to put on and take off by herself. Fun and colorful design: The colorful lizards on the band and dial are super cute and appealing to kids. Durable construction: It seems very sturdy and well-made, which is important for an active child. Water resistant: It can withstand splashes and everyday wear, so no need to worry about it getting wet. A few things to note: Elastic band may loosen: The elastic band might stretch out over time or with frequent use. Not for very small wrists: While the band is stretchy, it might be a bit loose on very small wrists.

It’s been a year since I got this for my granddaughter. She still wears it everyday and doesn’t have to constantly ask me what time it is. She loves it. It has worn well and still looks new despite being attached to a nine year old.

Edit October 2024: It finally bit the dust. But it held up for a few years first so I'm still happy with it. The battery CAN be replaced, but it is a royal pain in the rear to do, and it never worked after we replaced it. So.... Maybe it can't be replaced haha. I bought this watch for my son 4 years ago. It has been through a lot in that time and yet it's still in good shape. The watch face is the perfect size for boys ages 5 through 10, in our experience, and the band is adjustable so it can grow with your child. The lens is scratched a bit, but it isn't noticable until you look closely at it. Plus, the battery only now stopped working, which is surprising given the experiences of other reviewers on Amazon. It is possible to replace the battery. There are four teeny tiny Phillips head screws on the back that you have to remove to get to it, though, so I recommend using a tiny magnetized screwdriver (you can also make it magnetized by holding a decent kitchen magnet against the metal shaft of the screwdriver) and one of those magnetic trays, or at least a large magnet to keep the screws handy so you don't lose them. My son's watch takes an SR626SW cell battery which I assume is still the case for newer watches.

This was a perfect gift for my 7 year old. She loves that next to the number there is a small number counting by 5. This made telling time easier for her. The elastic band works great and she is able to get it on and off independently.

For some reason the title says it's a boy's watch. It's actually a girl's watch. We bought this for our daughter when she started learning to tell time, and she loves it. It's been really durable and reliable. It's gotten knocked around, dropped, lost, found, dunked in tub and sink water, left out in the sun and rain, driven over with toy cars, you name it. And it still works, and she still loves it. Wears it all the time. It keeps good time, it's easy to read, and it's cute. For little girls learning to tell time who want a watch of their very own, this is a pretty good starter.

I bought this watch for a 6 year old girl. Her 7year old brother was getting a watch, so I knew she'd have an interest once she saw that. It's a very cute watch and she loved it. I loved the "girly" watch without any princess or licensed movie characters on it! I do think the numbers are a bit small, but then it's a kids watch! Seems to keep time right and they LOVE the Indiglo! With both kids, I knew that the typical watch buckle was not an option. This strap is adjustable and is supposed to sort of "lock in place." It's elastic, so it's supposed to just go on and off like a rubber band. For my daughter, it's first off a bit big. Secondly, when she tries to put it on/take it off she tends to pull out the end and make it bigger - requiring an adjustment by me (and stifling her independence, if you know what I mean). It may get better as she gets physically bigger - and it would still be preferable to the traditional watch band.

My favorite long lasting watch for young children. We’ve tried other kinds and I keep coming back to this as each child comes of watch-wearing age.
