These three short stories,that are dramatized, make for great listening entertainment.Law of the Desert Born - A sheriff is forming a posse to go after a murderer. But his only hope of tracking the outlaw, is to take along a man already in custody; one who knows the desert they are about to cross better than any one. But will the prisoner lead them astray to perish in the cruel desert, or will he take them to the murderer?Maybe the desert will win out in the end.The Triggernometry Tenderfoot - An Eastern dude who seemed no match for the men of Montana, comes to town with a purpose. He takes a job as a school teacher, and learns the story of Mike Shanahan, a rancher who lost his homestead - and his life. What does it all have to do with him?Horse Heaven - When a man pays a visit to his brother's ranch, he discovers his brother is gone and the ranch is being run by his new wife. A shady gambler also seems to have quite an interest in the ranch - as well as the young wife.These audio dramatizations are fabulous. They are full cast performances, with some talented voices. There is music and sound effects that, together with L'Amour's wonderful writing, put you right into the time and place, and make you feel like you are listening to an old time radio western. The sound quality is excellent. Each story is on its own disc and each run around an hour.Wonderful for taking on long rides, or to keep you company around the house. Saddle up for some western entertainment that is L'Amour's own brand......Laurie

I recommend these short stories to anyone who loves westerns, all about an hour long, great for short commutes

My husband love these stories. He drives a truck and is always so happy with these.

We enjoyed these stories because we had not read them before. They were new to us and, as always, were good!

I have most of his stories and used these on a long car trip. They're fun.
