Ideal for indoors! Or out. And realistic!
These are so fun. I bought two packs. I use these in a couple of places. I have a small 3’ x 3’ turf matte inside at work along with some strategically placed chopping nets and I can chip around without worrying about damaging anything. I can even full swing and not break a window! My employees hate it. I also hit these in the front yard from the neighbors house. I go across the street and hit these 50 yards back to my house. Ball flight is pretty good! They go farther than I thought.

They fly correctly, but when hit go FOP!
It is hard to believe an orange ball can be so hard to find. I am new to golf. I have an instructor who is high level, every ball he hits, be it a practice ball or real golf ball goes straight down the fairway. Incredible! So I have a practice fairway 74 yards long, 25 feet width. It is cut at 2 inches height. A flag is at one end, 64 yards from the tee. I practice using these Callaway soft sponge balls and Allmostgolf balls. The Allmostgolf when hit properly travel 60 some yards, click when hit using a 7 iron and ping when hit with a driver. The Callaway ball goes FOP! Yet performs just as the real ball would perform. A good solid swing produces a travel distance of 30 some yards. My rough is cut at 4 inches. Everything is hard to find when the ball lands in it regardless of color. So with such a short distance of travel, you would believe you will never loose a Callaway practice ball. Well I hit a drive the other day, I have no idea where that Callaway ball is?? These are good if you can overlook the sound when hit.11Sept20, interesting, out of 12 balls, there are three that are much firmer than the other very soft one's. So out to my practice area to hit a few drives and 7 iron shots. As I have described before the soft balls go FOP when hit. But the firmer ball actually sounds much better, ping when hit with a driver. Click when hit with the 7 iron. Also a much better feel when the ball leaves the clubhead. I am beginning to like this Callaway practice ball.

Great practice golf balls!
We purchased these for practice balls for our granddaughter. They look just like regular Callaway golf balls but are safe for inside. They come in a small pouch with a drawstring that is easy to keep them together and store with her practice putter.

DO NOT BUY FOR CHIPPO
These balls seem to be high quality and I'm sure they're great for practicing a full golf swing, but for chipping they just seem to bounce off of the club face way too quickly. A 1/8 golf swing, which is essentially a putting stroke, with a 60 degree wedge should not result in a 10-15 yard golf shot. For Chippo this might even be okay, but the balls are so soft that when they hit the hard Chippo board they bounce like a friggin' bouncy ball. If you don't hit it straight into the hole it's going to bounce off the board. I'd say that these balls are about three times softer than the "almostgolf" balls that come with the game.I understand that these balls are not advertised to work well with Chippo, and I'm sure they're great practice balls otherwise, but I bought them to be used with Chippo and unfortunately they're not made for that game whatsoever. I also do not think that they simulate a real ball very accurately if you want to practice chipping. I'd recommend a much harder ball for that.
