The waterpump causes the sparkle inside the candle to move around, and the effect looks real nice. One note, the noise of the motor, it can be heard in a silent environment quite clearly. The whole thing is made of plastic, but it does feel sturdy and does not look cheap as some other similar products.I have a green skull lantern with the same idea, and I think it looks even better than this candle. The moving glitter concept works better with it, but this candle IS still really nice. Happy Halloween!
