These cables are super bright and beautiful!
These fit my GPU perfectly! They are kinda thick and bendable so don’t worry about breaking it. The colors are nice and warm and bright. My only gripe with this cable is that it does not come with an spare addressable 5v headers for your motherboard. Good thing I had a spare one lying around or else I would have been out of luck lol but other than that these cables are amazing!

Nice look when installed
Works well when setup correctly, NOT as easy as thier setup video shows lol, but it offers a nice look to your system. It does NOT come with a RGB cable, or the PCI card like the 24 pin does! if you don't have a RGB cable like the one that came with your MB, make sure your order one the same time you order this, or your SOL The best advice I can give is, PATIENCE when installing it !! ;)

Tough to bend, destroyed my thumbs, one of the cables has come out of the end holder easily
Tough to bend: I have the Lian Li PC-011DW 011 mid tower and with my GTX1080 sticking outwards I cannot close the side panel without leaning against the tower, while pulling the cords underneath the video card to not push everything into the motherboard as I close it up. Because of the bending the clip that holds the RGB line to the top of the wires keeps popping itself off in the back of the case in front of the fan (picture). Also, the bending caused everything to untidy itself so now the wires look messy. I bet anyone with a vertical GPU placement in their case will have no issues with this. Destroyed my thumbs: Getting the wires into the clips is OK most of the time with the tool. Getting them out to re-adjust was impossible on the bottom wires. You have to twist and pull upwards in order to do it but it was super frustrating. Cable came out of the end (picture): Happened when trying to bend the cable while adjusting it inside my case. Took it all out and tried to put it back in but it doesn't actually fit back into the hole. I tried to unscrew the little plastic piece because it looks like that's what holds it in, but the screws don't even move. RGB's are bright have a bunch of modes which I like except you know, the "turn off the lights" mode. They're always on. I found out that the only way to connect them to say iCUE is to buy adapters off ebay to connect to only certain corsair RGB hubs. I do not recommend buying this but do still recommend the 24 pin power one.

These are AWESOME!!!
I ordered the 8 pins and 24 pin Strimmers and I LOVE them. They are fairly bright....Unless you already have a bunch of LED's in your case. They have great effects and look great. They can be tricky to put together and get to ben the correct way but once you do they stay and really are a focal point in your case. People ask "How the heck is that working like that" and "Where did you get those". I highly recommend them. I have them ran through Asus Aura sync.

This is the first version, not the Plus. Does not come with controller.
First of all, make sure you are buying the Strimer PLUS, which is the second version of the product, not the first (just Strimer), because apparently the v2 is a LOT more polished. This was not painless to install, and I can't say for sure, but I believe the controller thing that it uses was causing issues with my Bluetooth signal. To be fair, I did install 2 or 3 new components at the same time, and removed all of the new ones and the issue is gone. I don't believe this is a good value for the money. I'll be returning. Oh, lastly, the 8 PIN version (for GPU) came upside down..and it's not easy at all to turn the combs the other way. Even though I mounted the optic fibers onto the cables the way they came, I could not plug onto my GPU because the plug was upside down. Just stay away.

Nice, but somewhat impractical
When I say impractical I don't mean I don't like rainbow lights all over my case. I mean that it's hard to route GPU cables without some twisting and turning. These Lian-Li lights look best if the cable is straight, which is easy with the 24-pin motherboard extender. These on the other hand tend to get twisted and therefore always look a little bit messy. Good product, impractical to install and use.

They look cool, but can be difficult to straighten out
These are an awesome addition to my case, and I'd definitely recommend them. There only issue is that, when you curve them at one end, the opposite end naturally wants to bend in the opposite direction. It kind of seems like the lengths of the inner wires should come shorter than the lengths of the outer wires, or something. Maybe there is no good solution, actually. Whatever the case, I love the way these look and wouldn't want to have done this build without them.

Worth It!
Bought both the 8pin & 24pin. The 24 pin was a lot easier to assemble compared to the 8 pin. I had to remove all the teeth from the cables and rearrange them, which was definitely tough and time consuming but it is definitely worth it in the end! I have had no issues with them, and the end result looks great! 👍

Cheap materials and hard to assemble. Very fiddly and annoying.
