The pattern is very pretty, and the texture of the skin is smooth with a slight leathery feel. I did have to trim the corners a bit to fit my laptop, but I had no problems doing that.I made sure my laptop surface was cleaned with alcohol before I applied the skin, and I haven't had any issues with any part of it peeling for an entire year. I only had to recently remove it because I had to replace my laptop case (note: It didn't leave any residue or marks on my laptop after removal).I've reapplied it to my new laptop, but of course there are some bubbles and imperfections due to the material being stretched as I removed it. Considering that it's only $10, I will just purchase another one if this re-application doesn't work out. Great product; I highly recommend it!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this cover. You have to be super careful when measuring and cutting as most people will have to trim and/or round out the edges. Like the saying goes measure twice, cut once. However, I would say measure 5 times cut and slowly trim until you have it perfect, then good luck lining the stick when placing it. I found my laptop had kinda sharp edges so I just pushed my finger hard along the edges and used that as my original basis. Then slightly trimmed to make sure it was flush as possible. After that I trimmed the edges to curve alone with my laptop. Finally and this was the hard part taking off the back and lining it up perfect. I used the original flat piece I did not cut to line up with my straight nom curved back of my laptop. It was hard to make sure none of the rest of the sticker stuck to the laptop while lining the back up. Once the back was done the rest was super easy! Just flatten down with one hand as you slowly let it drop from your initial line up and then take a credit card or something similar to take out any bubbles. I ended up with only about 4 bubbles and they were easily removed!

This is absolutely beautiful, and I love it. I only have 2 things to warn you about. First, it doesn't look exactly like that. The flowers are larger. Or maybe the picture is on a large laptop. Mine is very small. The big problem is that this skin is thick and stiff. That makes it much harder if you want to fold it over the edges. It won't fold. It would be better if it was thinner and more flexible.

Overall, I like this skin very much.I had scratched up the back of my laptop a bit (when I was student teaching, I was very much on the go and didn't treat my laptop the nicest...I was constantly throwing it in and out of my tote back instead of putting it in a real case) and I was looking for a skin that looked lovely and could cover up the scratches.This particular skin looks very nice. The colors are a bit brighter than the preview pictures show here, but it looks lovely. It can be a bit difficult to cut and size to your laptop. I botched mine up a little bit (not too badly, though), but I think it would probably be a lot easier and look a lot better if you a box cutter to cut it to fit your laptop instead of a regular pair of scissors. It's also really easy to end up with bubbles when applying it to your laptop, so keep an extra eye out for them when you're sticking this on your laptop (I'd suggest using some sort of edge to help smooth it over as you put it down on the laptop like an ID of sorts).I do like the material this is made out of as well. It's a nice leathery vinyl sort of material.Overall, I'm very satisfied and would definitely buy more laptop skins from this company.

So I got a new laptop a couple of months ago and it looked great. But then in a cruel twist of fate I spilled a tiny bit of nail polish on the top. I told myself, "no problem, I'm just going to use a bit of nail polish remover." And it took off not only the nail polish, but a big spot of paint from the lid of my laptop. So I told myself, "no problem, I'll just brush nail polish remover all over the computer and make it even." I felt like I was in a not-so-funny episode of Mr. Bean as each solution turned into a bigger and bigger problem. Eventually I found this skin and I feel like it seriously saved my life (or my dignity anyways). My laptop is 15.6", and lengthwise was perfect, just needed a bit of trimming width-wise and for the curved edges. None of the pictures so far really accurately showed the edges you get so I'm uploading my own pictures including the corner I cut worst and the corner I cut best. I took a lot of time, probably about 45 minutes to line everything up just right and used cuticle scissors to round the edges. Be patient and don't drink too much caffeine, this project requires a very steady hand. I love the skin, I am very happy with it. Colors actually look better in real life than on the pictures, so that's another plus!

Prompt delivery, nice design as ordered. Does not stick! I cleaned my laptop, dried as recommended. The edges which were trimmed perfectly lift and are not secured. Most likely going to remove and toss! Waste of money!

Love this cover! I wanted something to protect my laptop but didn't want a bulky, plastic-looking cover to do the job. I ordered this laptop skin for my HP Envy 15.6 in laptop & it works great. I was able to easily trace my laptop measurements onto the back of the skin, cut it to match the curved edges of my laptop, and stick it on. The curved edges require a little work to reduce bubbling but it's not difficult. The colors of this laptop skin are just as vibrant as they are in the product's picture! I love the mint green and the flowers--not too bold to look tacky, but just bright enough to add a little femininity & sass to my study spot. The only thing I didn't like was how long shipping took. I ordered it with Prime shipping and this took much longer than the typical 2 days to arrive. But now that it's here, I'm very happy with it! Also, I usually don't write reviews but I found the previous reviews of this item helpful when picking out a cover so I wanted to add mine as well.

This is a giant sticker. Which would be fine if I wanted a giant sticker. But what I wanted was something that was tailored to fit my computer. Otherwise why even specify that it's for a 15.6 inch laptop? I had to trim it and then try and round the edges by hand and of course it looks like crap.
